This isn't a book I would say is doctrinally oriented; it's simply a truthful story of the daughter of Ray Charles -- her spiritual struggles, her life struggles, and a God who lifted her up despite her imperfections. What a testimony of One who stays with us even when our thoughts are not His thoughts nor our ways His ways. Praise God!
