My daughter who is 8 years old is a big fan of the English Roses Series. She states that she enjoys these books because they are interesting. Also the story lines involve mysteries, friendship problems, and first loves. This particular book she enjoyed tremendously because it is about a girl who meets a boy and decides that she actually likes him. This book is a chapter book and allows my daughter to strengthen her reading skills. She also likes the book because the main character Binah learns a lot about herself and stops being a push over around her friends. This story is about character building and realizing who you are and who your real friends are. Great read for any third grade girl!
