Meet the Author

I am a small town Georgia girl. I've been writing poetry , short stories and non-fiction since I was very young. Throughout school, I won multiple spelling bees, and always excelled in English.I am a mother to 3, grandmother to 2, with 1 more on the way!! (I started at a young age, so I'm not your typical Granny!)I love the outdoors, spending time with family, curling up to a movie or good ebook, or having family game night at the kitchen table.

Paying it forward is a phrase I first heard on Oprah’s daytime show.
It’s time to go back to the days when no one even though twice, we opened the doors, we gave our chair to the elderly; these acts of kindness were part of our culture. Start small, and before you know it, you too will be paying it forward. In BS Johnson’s book she breaks down this small kindness’ and gives ideas on how to make them happen. This book is a quick read, and will leave you with a nice warm fuzzy feeling. Be part of a better world, do small acts of kindness.
