Meet the Author

Robert Ripley, founder of the world famous Ripley’s Believe It or Not! cartoon strip, books, museums, and radio and TV shows, traveled to more than 200 different countries in his lifetime, in a relentless quest for odd people, places, and things. From humble origins in turn of the century California, he became one of the best known and most successful Americans of his generation. His own travels were recorded in newspaper columns that were read around the world, and, as shown in this book, provide a fascinating insight into a time when such journeys were highly unusual, magical and mysterious.

    This was tye best book.

I bet a lot of people would love it if they just tries to read it. This is a treat to the whole family. You can read it to your children and they will really love it. It is full of funniness and weird stuff like the fattest person or the biggest mouth to fit straws in i think your kids would therally it is not innapropriate and you will love it.my family loved it and thought it was the funniest thing ever.so if you like it then you write it down and i will review it. Dont be sayin bad words if you dont like it just say somthin like i didnt like it or i dont recomend this book to others i just hope all of you like it i enjoyed it (for like the millionth time:)this is a kid by the way i am not an adult i justt like long stuff. Trust me i read one harry potter book a day i read robinson crusoe on three hours it was reaally good but anyway back on topic you will like belive it or not. Hope your kids like it (if you have any that is).
