To say I was a skeptic is an understatement. I am a 66 year old businessman. This book has significantly restored my "Sense of wonder?" It is truly a gift for those of us who have forgotten about the joy of the magic in the world. Thank you Ms. Mager.

Reading this book gave me a fresh and magical perspective on walks in the park! No longer is a tree just a tree or a Rose merely a beautiful flower. Now, I see them in a completely different way as I watch for the tell tale signs of the faerie folk who are there to tend them. It was a delight to find a book that drew me into looking at the ordinary in an extraordinary way. Follow these seven steps and it will change forever the way you look at nature. Thank you Marcia for the wake up call!

I've been looking forward to this book, admittedly because the illustrator is the great Mr. Tom Cross. While the content is good, the illustrations are all in black and white and the same images/pictures are used repeatedly throughout the book. I realize now that this is not intended to be a picture book per se, but with Tom Cross' name as the illustrator, I was looking forward to his colorful and beautiful art.
