Meet the Author

Tucker Max received his B.A. from the University of Chicago, where he graduated in 1998. He attended Duke Law School on an academic scholarship, where he graduated with a J.D. in 2001 (despite the fact that he neglected to buy any of his textbooks for his final two years and spent part of one semester-while still enrolled in classes-living in Cancun). Tucker is purportedly the reason Duke dropped from 7 to 11 in the USN&WR rankings during his tenure. He currently lives in Los Angeles, and when he isn't drinking or fornicating.

This is an amazing book, full of 47 Tucker Max stories. Filled with (you guessed it) plenty of belligerence and debauchery. I recommend this book to everyone.

And I thought I was a bad person! Tucker Max is a patron of all men! His site is incredible, his books are just as noteworthy. Read it and learn from his examples, think of ways to top him. Make a legend out of yourself. Anyhow, give this man his respect and laugh constantly as you read his book!

This is it. The best book I have EVER read. Not only did it make me laugh out loud about 2 dozen times, but it also taught me a lot. I read the site, bought the book, and never looked back. I am here buying the Pickup-Lines book now. If it is HALF as hysterical as this was, I will be a happy (and much less lonely) man. Tucker Max, you are a man among men. Thank you.

After reading a friend's copy of this book, I was compelled to check out the website, and found it to be an extention of the same well-articulated stories comprised only of shock value. Give it as a gag gift, or skim through it for a good laugh, but don't take it seriously. Good bathroom reading, especially if you run out of paper.

Drunkenness, sex, bad behavior and a steady stream of insults that are democratically obnoxious are the driving forces in the forty-seven stories collected in this book. Tucker Max presents the world as a Darwinian playground in which Alpha males roam the landscape (which consists of an endless array of bars and parties) preying on the weak, always on the lookout for sexually available females. I hesitated to share these stories with the females in my life. But the first time my girlfriend read Tucker Max, she laughed so hard she cried. Then she gave the book to her mother to read. So much for my hypersensitivity. Buy a copy for your friend's bachelor party so he never forgets the world he's leaving behind. Buy one for yourself so you can enjoy Tucker Max's debauchery without having to suffer through the consequences of pursuing this sort of adventure on your own.
