About the Author

Telling stories through theater and performing, photographing, journaling and archiving her experiences became Pam's language of life, love and verse -- and ultimately the DNA of her poems in Beloving.

In May 1994, Pamela and her husband David left their beloved farm with their two sons, age 3 and 7 for a two-year experience together living in Lusaka, Zambia. Then Life took over before coming back to America 17 years later. Little did she imagine they would return after living in twelve homes, that the boys would attend five schools in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Vietnam. Or that they would traverse four continents, often traveling through 24 time zones, and crossing the Equator many times. “We swapped the North Star and the Big Dipper nights for the sparkling skies of the Southern Cross.”

In her earlier private sector career, Pamela managed marketing, sales, public speaking engagements and public relations for the Naisbitt Group, owned by John Naisbitt, bestselling author of the books Megatrends and Reinventing the Corporation. She created direct mail programs for The Trend Report, the Bellwether Report, the Trend Letter. She was a keynote speaker on Megatrends, she produced the book The Year Ahead and sold over 50,000 copies to corporations.
