I liked the first person "true story" writing style, but the writing itself could have used some more editing and proofreading. Also, does the writer know that fish and chips is really fish and fries? I think not, unless fries literally come in a bag where she is from. Little inaccuracies like that annoy me, sorry.

I loved this entire story. It was a quick and easy read. I read it in a few hours, only putting it down once.  I would have given this five stars, but I felt like there were too many unsolved mysteries. And a little proofreading goes a long way.

Thea is 16 and the only family she has left is a stepmother. Circumstances have them moving to England. Thea makes new friends and enjoys living there. She meets and works for a local witch, who has her questioning everything she has ever known. From that point on, everything accelerates and Thea is thrown into circumstances beyond her control.

I can't wait to read the next chapter of Thea's life.

Oh, and by the way, in England fish and fries are called fish and chips.

    STOP THE SPOILERS!!!

I haven't even read the book yet (I'm sure that it's a great book and all...) and people are shouting out to the world that "she" is mysteriously pregnat! This is primarily to help readers decide if they want to buy the book or not, not to tell them the entire surprise ending without reading the book! I'm not one of those people who rant about every single thing that happens to cross my mind, but this bugs me, people. I don't want to have to scroll down to the 50th page just to get a helpful review, guys.
