Actions take place in the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv in 2014-15. The main character, Serhiy, by chance, under the patronage of his institute friend Mykhailo, gets a job in a state institution whose powers include the organization and control of the participation of domestic athletes in international competitions, as well as in the Olympic Games. Serhiy finds himself in the environment of big sport and big business, which, in some cases, are different sides of the same coin. In the process of mastering a new activity, the main character gets acquainted with the dark side of sports, and this acquaintance shocks and unpleasantly affects him.
