    Nice change of scene.

I am from Alaska so it was nice to read a book with lots of ice and snow. I could feel the chill it was that believable. The characters however were a bit forced and the plot was just ridiculous. But the story moved along and kept me interested. It was sometimes difficult to know who was talking and their personalities seemed paper thin. But I liked the story. I like the author. I've never read anything else of his before this book. I will try him again but not any of his earlier works. I hope he got the kinks out in this book and writes better next time.
