Overview

Kyran Reese is a man in control. Driven when it comes to work, focused when it comes to play. From his office to the chalk circle of Metro’s bare-knuckle boxing ring, his only thought is to win. That thirst heightens when Dale Porter enters his life. His brother’s assistant should be off-limits, but her witty comments and sarcastic comebacks have him desperate to get her between the sheets. After receiving an unexpected left hook, Kyran gets exactly what he wants, though he makes the rules very clear.

When Dale agrees to Kyran’s relationship stipulation of no labels, she’s sucked into a whirlwind of lust, money, and underground boxing. The agreement to keep their lust away from the office is discarded when rules are molded to suit their ever-increasing attraction. Dale fights her growing affection, trying to hide it even when the world around them spirals out of control. All too soon she realizes she can’t hide her true feelings any longer.

Kyran begins to wonder if he’s finally met his match, and with his family falling apart before his eyes, he turns to the two things he knows will keep him sane: boxing and Dale. Those crutches can’t last forever, and when Kyran finds it harder to function he is left with a decision he never thought he’d have to make.

Could playing to win mean playing for keeps?

    CEO/BAD BOY

I received a ARC for an honest review.

Kyran CEO/BAD BOY need I say more! Kyran is the CEO of his fathers company during the day but at night he reveals his tattoos and becomes a fighter at a club to get his adrenaline going and clearing his head from all the stress at the office and the family issues that eats away at him.

Kyran doesn't do relationships or love. That is until Dale walks into his office. Dale is his brothers new assistant she is feisty and she gives as good as she takes. Will she get him to change his mind?

I loved the chemistry and banter between the characters in this book.

M.A. Stacie is very good at drawing out the inevitable...in a go

M.A. Stacie is very good at drawing out the inevitable...in a good way. I was holding my breath till the very end! I don´t normally like boxing or anything similar to that...but I think I will learn to love it :)
Kyran is a mysterious loner CEO with a serious chip on his shoulder especially where his brother and father are concerned. By day he is the serious ruthless CEO and by night he is the ruthless unbeatable underground bare knuckle fighter. When Dale walks into his office stumbling on her heels...his world is turned upside down!
Dale has to pick up the pieces when she finds her best friend´s legs wrapped around her boyfriend´s head...along with another women in the bed they share! She applies for a job with Kyran´s brother at the Reese´s company. Instantly attracted to one another they have witty banter and some serious sexual tension.
They agree to a ¨Just sex¨ relationship...but when obstacles start popping up constantly they have to decide if they want to keep the relationship the same or if their feelings are much more than ¨just sex¨

Let me start this review off by pointing out the obvious: Holy freakin' moly the cover is amazing! I more than love it!

BENEATH THE SURFACE had me from the overview and  I couldn't put it down! M.A. Stacie grabbed my attention and refused to let go. From the outside Kyran Reese is all alpha male but once you continue reading and get to see glimpses of the true him we find that he's more than that. Dale Porter is a whirlwind of character. The girl has spunk and all that sassiness made her even more relatable to me. Their chemistry was like a drug. I seriously couldn't get enough of them.

Every character within BENEATH THE SURFACE was well-developed and readers can't help but be connected to them. The story-line was solid and I was left wanting more from M.A. Stacie. The heat between Kyran and Dale was magnificent and I was left scorched.

I hope to read many more books by M.A. Stacie.
