## Another winner by Ms. March. I adored this book. Again the hero started out rough, but came through with redeeming qualities. He and the heroine had fabulous chemistry. I will definitely be reading again. Looking forward to the next book in this intriguing series.

Beneath These Scars was a book I could NOT put down! The hot, steamy chemistry between Yve and Lucas paired with the suspense, kept my adrenaline running high. I was so strongly sucked to this story, I read it in one sitting. Yve was a hard-working, independent woman who was determined not to repeat the mistakes of her past. Titan was an arrogant, smooth talking billionaire who has his future planned out. Reading the banter between these characters was hilarious. They were so strong-willed and stubborn yet had an undeniable pull towards one another. It was hot, sexy, alpha dominated, strong and independent all wrapped up in one. I couldn't have asked for any more in this book to make it perfect! I was completely blown away by how much I loved this book. This was my first time reading Meghan March. I love her writing style and the strength of her characters. I highly recommend this book, it's a scorcher!!

I just finished this book, the fourth of the, "Beneath," series by Meghan March. I wrote a review for another one, and this review is pretty similar. I love how the books intertwine and the characters you really got to know in one book pop up in the next. As for Lucas Titan, self-proclaimed the, "guy you love to hate," he is exactly just that. Even while reading this book you think, "gosh what a jerk"! That being said, he is still lovable and interesting. The characters really draw you in and keep you entertained. And of course, HOT!

I knew as soon as Lucas was introduced in Con and Vanessa's story I wanted nothing more than to read his. I was sad that Lord and Elle were next which kind of put a damper on my enthusiasm for that book. I read them all each in a day. I couldn't put them down. But this one was by far my favorite.

THE BEST OF THE SERIES!! OMG...THIS IS THE BEST OF THE SERIES!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED BENEATH THESE SCARS, AND I MOST ESPECIALLY LOVED LUCAS TITAN!! WHAT A MAN!! WHAT A MAN!! WHAT A MAN!!! Yve is one seriously lucky lady to have the love of Lucas Titan!! I do believe that every girl needs a Lucas Titan in her corner. Yeah, he may come off as an arrogant, sexy jerk, but if he decides that you are his business then by gosh you are one lucky little lady!! Beneath these Scars is the story of Lucas Titan, the uber rich and sexy billionaire, who also happens to be another name for a backside, shall we say, and who has not had it as easy as some may believe, and Yvonne aka Yve Santos, a woman who has been through hell but is no one's victim and does not take mess from any man after ridding herself of an abusive husband. Beneath these Scars was well written and the storyline was absolutely fascinating, and grabbed me from page go. I actually read this one in one day, because I could not put it down. This story was extremely well told...and the Epilogue was absolutely beautiful!! I loved Lucas and Yve's journey to their happily ever after. The push and pull between these two was wonderful and kept you reading for more, in order to find out who was going to cave first, because neither one of these two individuals was good with taking orders or letting another have control. I highly recommend Beneath these Scars, book 4 in the Beneath series. Great job on this one, Meghan March!! Now, all I have to say is that Detective Hennessy needs a story ASAP!!

Lucas is one of the newest movers and shakers in New Orleans. He’s got the money but not the pedigree for High Society. He believes that if he can get into the New Orleans high society (which doesn’t like his new money). His plans have been to date and eventually marry a woman from the upper crust that would open all the doors that his money alone could not buy. As he continues to pursue his goals he comes face to face with Yve Santos and he wasn’t planning on her. Yves is not interested in someone like Lucas Titian…been there done that. She wants her business and the simple relationships she has had. She has been through a lot and is content with what she has. Her goal is to take control of the store she is currently managing. It’s not easy for to ask for help but reluctantly agrees to it from Lucas. She was only wanting his help, she was planning on anything else. But LOVE always finds a way. Lucas Freaking Titan…that truly sums up his name. Since I started reading the series I have been waiting patiently (not really) for Lucas’s book. He has always been a commanding presence in previous stories so I knew his book was going to be awesome! And it was! The best so far of the series. Yes Lucas is an arrogant jerk. He is ruthless and will destroy anyone that gets in his way. BUT…this book finally shows you the other side of Lucas. Behind the tightly controlled persona there is a vulnerable man underneath. While he thinks he knows what he wants in a wife he comes to realize that Yve is the only woman he can see in that role. She is everything he never knew he wanted. Yve herself is the perfect match for Lucas as she is as strong as him and won’t take any of his BS. She won’t let him get away with anything. She has been hurt in the past and is content with the store and her friends. Lucas comes barging into her life and shows her that all guys are not like her ex. In him, she finds the one man she can believe in and he finds the woman he can truly love.

5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Beneath This Mask (Beneath #1) Beneath This Ink (Beneath, #2) Beneath These Chains (Beneath #3) This is Yve and Lucas’s story. After missing a chance with 2 women before he is determined to find the right person for him. With Lucas and Yve they both have scarred pasts. They both ouch each other in everything they do. Will they be able to stop bickering long enough to fall for each other? With the people trying to come between them do they even have a chance? If they do come together will it be worth it in the end? When Yve’s past comes back can Lucas save her? Will he be the one man she never thought she wanted? Will Lucas be able to protect Yve and give her everything he knows she deserves? I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Review copy courtesy of the publisher via NetGalley. Beneath These Scars is the fourth book in the Beneath series by Meghan March. I read Book 3, Beneath These Chains, and I liked it but I didn't really remember the details of it. So I don't think that readers need to have read any of the previous books to be able to read THIS one. I really liked Yve, the heroine. She was strong and she was a survivor. I dug how, in a way, she made her own rules and did things her way. Even better, she did those things without coming off as bitchy or hard-assed. She was sweet and kind and friendly. I loved that she ran this funky, vintage clothing shop. She didn't own it but she did all the buying of inventory, keeping the books, helping customers, all of it. She was good at her job(s) and she made the store successful. I think another reason I liked it was because... Read my full review at https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1365410955

I absolutely LOVE this series! I have been hooked since I first read Beneath these chains. Hot alpha males, tough women, super sexy scenes and lots of steam. Meghan March knows how to turn up the heat and has hit the jackpot with this series! Even though this book is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone but I would highly recommend reading the other books in the series for the simple part of they are awesome! Lucas Titan is a drop dead sexy alpha male, his only downfall is he is also a complete jerk. He works hard for what he has and doesn't let anything, or anyone stand in his way. In his opinion, if that makes him a jerk than so be it. He isn't out to make friends and with his good looks and money, he has no problem with the ladies. Lucas had everything he needed and wanted, until Yve Santos sauntered into the picture. Lucas can't understand why Yve dislikes him so much but neither of them can deny the attraction between them. Yve Santos was a no hold bars, tell it like it is woman. After finally escaping an abusive husband Yve has no desire or use for a man, especially one with money, even if that man is the sexy as sin Lucas Titan. With her ex-husband safely behind bars, Yve is finally getting on with her life. Working as the shop manager for Dirty Dog, Yve has found her place in life doing exactly what she loves, until the day she received a phone call telling her her ex had been released from jail. When strange things start happening at Yve's apartment she takes Levi, one of her workers, up on the offer to crash at his place while he is out of town. Levi however forgot to mention that he lives with his brother in his mansion, oh and his brother is Lucas Titan! What starts off as a one time, lust filled night turns into so much more for these two. There is just something about Yve that makes Lucas want to protect her and make sure she is never hurt again. As the threat of Yve's ex-husband becomes more of a reality Lucas will stop at nothing to make sure she stays safe and the closer these two get the harder it is for Lucas to picture a life without Yve. I honestly cannot recommend this book or series enough. This has been my favorite book so far in the series and I just cannot wait for more to come. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher via NetGalley for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

Another great read from Meghan March! This has become one of my favorite series – I just love all of the characters and each and every story in this series has pulled me in and kept me reading well past my bedtime. Lucas Titan is the guy we all love to hate. He’s got it all, but he also has the scars that he carries inside that drives him to be the villain that he sees himself as. I loved watching his world get turned upside down by Yve – she was just what he needed, someone to stand up to him and challenge him at every turn. He’s so used to calling the shots that when Yve won’t fall in line like everyone else, he can’t help but be intrigued and ultimately ensnared by her. Of course Yve knows getting involved with another rich guy is only setting herself up for more hurt, but she simply can’t get her mind and her body on the same page. She’s been a victim in the past and is determined to never be one again. Of course she’s so intent on being strong she is scared to put trust in anyone to help her, something that Lucas is determined to do. I loved the strength that Yve had and it was wonderful watching her begin to trust and rely on someone other than herself – even if it was Lucas Titan! These two were HOT together – even though they don’t like each other (or so they said!), their attraction was off the charts and there was no denying they wanted each other. This made for some great dialogue between the two – it was so much fun watching Yve try to put Lucas in his place and keep the upper hand. The suspense part of the book was well done. Watching Yve’s past catch up to her made a nice backdrop to the relationship part of the story. Without this plot line I don’t think there would have been a chance for these two to break down the emotional barriers they both had built. I loved the plot twist at the end and loved the way all the parts and pieces came together. Emotionally I didn’t make as deep a connection with Lucas and Yve as I did with the characters in the other books. I loved both of them and was rooting for them to find their happy ever after, but because of how these characters were made, it was hard to get beneath the surface to really “feel” with them. Both Lucas and Yve are wrapped pretty tight, and although there were a couple of moments, these two kept their emotions pretty closed off. I loved catching up with many of the characters from the other books. One of my favorite parts about this series is the interaction between all the characters and coming across bits that are referenced between books – the author has done a great job weaving all these stories together! I highly recommend this book and series – as I said before, this series has quickly become one of my favorites and Lucas and Yve did not disappoint! I received a copy of this book from the author/tour host via NetGalley for an honest review.

This was the BEST in the Beneath series yet....and they are ALL great reads! Lucas is really an "in your face" kind of character! He is very much an alpha and somewhat of a lone wolf, yet you can feel him wanting to belong. I found that I could not stop smiling when I read the end of this book! I laughed, I was surprised, I was worried....this book just ran the full gamut for me! If you are looking for a series, or an author that can deliver a full one, two punch...Meghan March and the Beneath series is it! Can't wait for the next one!

New reader, LOVED this book!! WOW what an introduction to Meghan's work, my only question to myself.... Why haven't I read any of her books before?? I'm going to add all her books in this series to my TBR & read them when I get the chance. Upon starting 'Beneath these Scars' I was instantly transfixed to the story, what girl wouldn't be?? Our leading man Lucas Titan is just WOW, rich, arrogant & gorgeous, but what does every man need?? A women of course (well in this story he does), but who wants a damsel, when you can have a spitfire?? Yve is the lady to question Lucas in everything, intantly disliking him for his past behaviour. I'm stopping there, I can't give any spoilers, it would ruin this for you. 'Beneath These Scars' is book 4 in Meghan's "Beneath" series, & although I didn't read this series in order, although it's a stand-alone, I highly recommend that you do. There was a heap of back story that was very interesting & I feel like I missed out by not reading it.

Not having read any of the prior books in this series, I dove head-first into Beneath These Scars and let me just say that I am so happy I did. What a gem. I honestly did not know what to expect but the author masterfully guided me through this less than perfect love story and never did I feel deprived or lost at not knowing the history behind these characters and their close-knit crew. I will admit I'm mad at myself for not discovering this series earlier but now that I have, I can guarantee I will be reading the rest asap! Not wanting to give anything away and who exactly this book is about for those who have read the prior books, all I will say is that I desperately wanted to hurt the 'hero'. Talk about a supreme alpha to the millionth degree. OMG this man was nothing but rude and demanding and stubborn as all hell. Happily though, the heroine is just as stubborn and demanding and even a bit rude. She may be the only woman to be able to tame him. Talk about a match made in heaven! These two bring out both the best and worst in each other without even trying. Their extremely sexy trysts, wild yelling matches and stolen tender moments make this ride one worth taking. The secondary characters add just the right touch and never take away from the our couple or the story-line. With the added bit of mystery surrounding the heroine and her past coming back to bite her, this book truly has it all. It is a well-written and completely satisfying read that I highly recommend. A solid 5 stars!

WOW! What a great story! I was hooked from the moment I started reading. Sexy billionaire, Lucas Titan and vintage store manager, Yve Santos make an unlikely but awesome couple. The sparks start flying whenever they're in the same vicinity. The sex is smokin' and the descriptive dirty language coming from Lucas is enough to make a girl have to fan herself. Both of them have their issues from the past to deal with, which leaves scars on the inside and the outside but do the scars leave this unlikely couple too different to make it work? Meghan March has done it again. Bravo! The story progressed smoothly and any questions you may have had while reading are all answered by the end. Great characters who each have amazing personalities. I can't wait to read more from this very talented author. Received a copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

"Who knew sexy as hell had a flavor? Dairy Queen could make a killing." I didn't want this book to end! By far my favorite book in the series. If I thought Lord had a dirty moth, nothing prepared me for Lucas. I loved how Yve and Lucas didn't start off instantly falling head over heels for each other. So much more realistic. I did not want to put this book down! So good and so hot!

I have read Meghan March's books since her first novel and have seen a steady progression in plot and character formation. Beneath These Scars is a well thought out book about 2 people who shouldn't work together as a couple. Lucas Titan and Yve Santos are opposites in most every way. He's a billionaire. She manages a shop in the Quarter. He doesn't know how to love. She has loved and had it turn to violence against her. What happens when two people that don't work on paper come together? Explosive sexual sparks from the start that turn to something more. As a reader, seeing these two come together while actively trying to keep it just sexual was a wild ride. Watching these two get over their pasts to make a brighter future leaves me filled with hope for the harden hearts out there. I received an ARC from the author.

Mere words seem hollow whenever they are proceeded by such a powerful and extraordinary masterpiece as Beneath These Scars. The last I want to do is to detract from the unabashed beauty and exquisite honesty that we see and feel throughout these precious pages. My purpose is to proclaim to you in a meager few words of the worthiness and the uniqueness of this magnificent labor of love that would hopefully convince you to take a chance on this utterly compelling and all-encompassing journey of pain to healing and fear to hope. I can only hope that my simple words are enough to prove to you that this is a story that absolutely needs to be read, experienced, and savored for the spectacular work of art that it is. Lucas Titan is a force to be reckoned with. The man has a one-track mind with no form of conscience to go with it when it comes to business. He is ruthless, brilliant, and efficient. He is not one to dispense with niceties, and he doesn’t waste time on trying to be liked. He knows what he wants and he doesn’t mince words or actions to get it. Fate is most definite not without a wonderful sense of humor when it brings Yve Santos into his life. She is a breath-taking hurricane that overtakes Lucas in the most emotionally jarring and life-upending way possible. She turns his life inside out and thaws his icy heart. Just when he thinks he can’t take anymore, he finds that she has somehow penetrated his reinforced steel walls leaving him with more answers then questions in her wake. Has Lucas finally met his match in all areas of his life, or will fear of turning human have him rebuilding his walls a thousand times stronger to keep even Yve out for good? Lucas left me forever perplexed about his closed off and harsh personality. For someone to be as heartless as he is meant that he had some very deeply hidden pain from his past that he had yet to deal with. Only a women just as closed off and stubbornly determined could ever reach him on any level. Yve was his perfect opposite in every way. She pushed him fiercely and pulled him off balance at every turn. Only she could draw him out and break down all of his defenses, and only she could show him how to truly love and cherish another human being. He was without a doubt the beast to her beauty, and she showed him that he was just as beautiful, loveable, and worthy as any other person. In turn, Lucas was able to heal the hidden scars that Yve carried and opened her heart to the possibility that she was more than her history, more than experiences, and more than her fears. Together, they discovered true freedom and independence, unlocked the power of love within their broken and jaded hearts, and looked towards a stunning future filled with every possibility imaginable. Meghan March is without a doubt a true and undeniable master at creating astonishing masterpieces that thrill the mind while completely overtaking your heart. She knows the perfect method to pull you into the story with out of this world characters that push you into a realm of pure ecstasy. Reading a Megan March book is unlike any other experience you will ever have. There is good writing, and then there is the excellence that you will only ever know from reading a book by this fantastic author. I challenge you to take the time to pick up one of her amazing books and prove me wrong.
