Meet the Author

Joleene Naylor is the author of the glitter-less Amaranthine series, a world where vampires aren’t for children. As a compliment to the novel series, she has also written several short stories, including the Vampire Morsels collection, and has plans for an Amaranthine Encyclopedia. In what little time is left she watches anime and updates her blogs, all from a crooked Victorian house in Villisca, Iowa. Between her husband and her pets, she is never lonely, and should she ever disappear one might look for her on a beach in Tahiti, sipping a tropical drink and wearing a disguise. I don't remember Benjamin from the book, but then is has been a while since I read it. I LOVE this whole series. The characters are great! The stories are well planned and exciting keeping me turning the pages. I hight recommend this series and the morsels are great to fill in some of the missing litle details.

Interesting, but a little short. This short story's dry humor and excellent characters makes it bearable, but there is really no purpose to this story. This is, without a doubt, my least favorite of the Vampire Morsels collection.

Little vignettes on a theme. Another author that tries to draw you in to larger works with teasers like these. Still I like the characterization she is attempting to establish.
