This beautifully illustrated and designed book will help pre-school children and beginning readers trust God to answer their prayers. Some alliteration adds a lilting rhythm to the story. The flowers disappear from a secret garden the birds and animals enjoy and Count Slime is the nasty thief. When the animals pray with praise, God replants the garden lovelier than before. This book would also make a nice gift for mothers to read to their children. If purchasing the p-book, a free audio book is available, too.
What a delightful story! It reminds young and old alike to not despair when their world has been tampered with. There are several lessons woven throughout the story that will plant 'seeds' in young readers regarding faith, faithfulness, answered prayer, and restoration, leaving lots of room for good discussions with parents or grandparents!
