After working with Phase 1 i just had to get Phase 2! I've always wanted to really learn how to play guitar but I've just never gotten the chance with my busy college years and now family life, but these books really taught me how to feel comfortable with my musicianship. I had any idea about the note names on then neck and some chords but working through these books made the whole process much more comprehensive. Even after going through the first one my reading had improved so much and I felt so much more confident in my musical knowledge. The 2nd and 3rd books just took my knowledge and skills even farther. The 2nd book focuses more on songs and really detailed stuff. That was just what i needed to challenge myself and realy get better. If anyone is looking to become a better reader and increase their knowledge of musical terms, complex rhythms, dynamics, etc. i highly recommend all three of these titles.
