Veteran author and backcountry explorer Erik Molvar discovered backpacking while working on a volunteer trails crew in the North Cascades of Washington.     Helpful in planning

    This was helpful in preparing for our visit. Hikes are ranked easiest to hardest. A map locates the vicinity in the park the hikes are located. Gives info about what will be seen & how long the hike will take. Useful in planning how much time to spend in a given area of the park.
