    Amazing glimpse at 1940's America

I've seen this film and am glad the sountrack is available now. Lots of previously unreleased stuff too. "Buckle Down Winsocki" from "Best Foot Forward" is simply one of the finest marches/fight songs ever written. John Phillip Sousa would have been proud to have written this one. (see real composers name on credits) This is an over looked musical that needs your attention. If you don't feel proud to be an American after listening and seeing the closing rendition of "Buckle Down Winsocki" then I ask you how did we win WWII? Fun, great swing music by Harry James, see the movie ( out of print, not on DVD YET) and get the soundtrack.
