Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Publisher's Weekly
Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield, of Sweet Valley High fame, are in sixth grade in this prequel series called Sweet Valley Twins. For the first time in their lives, they are starting to express themselves as individuals, rather than as a twosome. Elizabeth is excited about starting a class newspaper, and Jessica hopes to join the exclusive Unicorn Club. But the sisters want to stay close. Jessica, who wants Elizabeth to be a Unicorn too, poses as her twin and tricks one of Elizabeth's friends as a pledge task. But it backfires; Elizabeth doesn't like the club members and is angry at Jessica. They get separate rooms and start to dress differently. Readers may feel that Elizabeth is forced out of twindom, rather than choosing itJessica is the strong-willed one who starts to drift away. The plot isn't hard to figure out, but the series idea is clever, one that will probably broaden Sweet Valley High's already large readership. (8-12)
School Library Journal
Patented formula goes to sixth grade. Jessica and Lizzie appear in this new series as sixth-grade twins just beginning to separate after years of dressing alike. Middle school brings out the true Jessica, as she schemes to join the top social club, discovers makeup and boys, and is her usual mean-but-charming self. Enough happens to hook a younger generation of ``Sweet Valley High'' addicts.

I RECOMMEND YOU GUYS THIS BOOK!

Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield have been dressing alike and going together everywhere together all their lifes until Jessica meets the Unicorns! Jessica starts being snobby and mean to Elizabeth while she starts keeping secrets away from Elizabeth. Once Elizabeth knows what's happening around she feels Jessica and her aren't going to be together anymore. Then both make a deal about being mature and having their own choices but still love each other!

About Sweet Valley Twins in the book Best Friends

I think this title really goes good with the book because Best Friends are what twins are for when another is down.
