The most seductive stories of love between men.

In Best Gay Romance 2008, editor Richard Labonté shows that however romance happens, however long love lasts—a heartbeat or a lifetime—erotic love between men is a wondrous thing. In “Viva Las Vegas,” the narrator casts off his boy-next-door image and, dancing down the grand staircase at Caesar’s Palace into the arms of a handsome stranger, finally becomes the romantic leading man he always knew he was. In the beautiful, nostalgic “Endless Against Amber,” a man recalls a long-ago summer love, before adult life got in the way, “we were just two boys in a beat-up old car like so many others, cruising the neighborhood for a laugh, only one thing on our minds….”

    Excellent, Diverse Collection

Best Gay Romance 2008 is an excellent, diverse collection of stories edited by Richard Labonte. He explains in his introduction that the physical part of the relationship is the easy part, but the emotional part takes a little effort. And that is exactly what you get here: the part that takes a little more effort. The wooing and the seduction. The connecting and the falling in love. The romances are sometimes sweet, sometimes bittersweet and other times spicy. Whether the stories warm your heart or warm your body, they all deliver a very satisfying romantic read. Highly recommended.

Each story has its own power to pull you in.

I am still reading this book. I usually speed through most books. But this book has more stories that will make you think and dream about each one.

If I could be as lucky as some of these guys have been. But until I find true romance and love I think that these stories will keep me looking for more in life. But until the right guy comes along I can dream. If you have found that you have had some hot romantic times. Then you can still get more out of this book. It might even give you some ideas that you can do with the person that you are with.

I know that I am enjoying reading this book. I think that you will to.
