Meet the Author

Dr. Bill Martin is a government leader and professor who began his career in Pennsylvania working as a campaign coordinator for the Democratic Party. He has had leadership posts with the Lieutenant Governor and the State Auditor General and is currently a consulting manager in the Governors Office. Dr. Martin has been Director of the Governors School on Public Issues in New Jersey and has taught courses in educational leadership at both Temple University and Monmouth University. His career includes stints as a press secretary, speechwriter, school auditor, and management consultant.

This wise little book of inspiration belongs right at the front lines of America's 'culture war.' It's not a dry academic book, but a sometimes funny and highly readable joyride. My favorite part is the section on 'shocking and stupid quotations from the right.'
