Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Mouse decides to bake up a batch of chocolate chip cookies. He assembles the ingredients and makes quite a mess in the kitchen. Exhausted from his efforts, he relaxes and is awakened from his nap by a batch of overdone cookies. Mouse then proceeds to bake hundreds of delicious cookies and, best of all, he shares them with a friend, Kids who are familiar with If You Give a Mouse a Cookie may enjoy seeing a favorite character in another story. While there is some humor in this board book, most of which is due to the illustrations, on the whole there is nothing to make this book a real standout.

Best Mouse Cookie 3.8 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 6 reviews.

Same mouse as seen in classics like "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie", but 'The Best Mouse Cookie' is lacking an actual story. Seems more like a case where the author received a set of illustrations, then just added a description to the artwork. I've found myself having to make up my own story when reading this to my daughter.
