All Music Guide - Steve Leggett
Don't expect too many actual rockers as part of this three-disc, 30-track (all 30 tracks probably could have fit on a single disc) set of 1960s hits. It all leans to the pop and sweet harmony side of things, although it's nice to hear classic gems like the Tokens' "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," Little Peggy March's "I Will Follow Him," Ronny & the Daytonas' "G.T.O.," the Lovin' Spoonful's "Do You Believe in Magic," and the Youngbloods' "Get Together." It's just that no one ever accused any of those songs -- good as they might be as singles -- of actually rocking.
