Best of British Folk Rock

All Music Guide - William Ruhlmann
A more accurate title would be "The Best of Recent British Folk Rock," since, of the 18 tracks included on this 73+-minute disc, 14 date from 1992-96. The album demonstrates that British folk-rock is alive and well, both as performed by its most memorable veterans and by some promising newcomers. Just don't buy the album expecting vintage recordings.
