Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Lopi is a warm, durable, and water-repellent yarn loosely spun from the long-staple fleece of Icelandic sheep. Published on the 35th anniversary of the first importation of Lopi yarn into the United States, this volume features designs selected from an archive of nearly 1000 patterns knitted with Lopi or the finer Lite-Lopi yarn. These designs are truly the cr me de la cr me of knitted garments, updated with new Lopi colorways and in many cases re-sized for today's looser fit. Marvelous photography on location in Iceland adds to the charm of this beautiful book of classic designs. Recommended for all large knitting collections. Copyright 2003 Reed Business Information.

    Beautiful Ideas!

I love this book! I have used the patterns several times, and my gransdaughter picked her sweater and also used the color charts to pick her own colors! They are fast and fairly easy for a middle of the road knitter.Just looking at the patterns are great fun!
