Flamenco has become more visible lately, rising in international status -- which might, in part, be thanks to the worldwide success of the Gipsy Kings, although it's more flamenco that's been the subject of the spotlight. This collection goes for the smoother, less abrasive side of flamenco guitar, pulling tracks by artists on the Narada roster. It's impossible to criticize the technical aspects of players like Jesse Cook, Oscar Lopez, and Willie & Lobo.
