Best of the '90s, Vol. 1 is a 12-track budget-priced collection that combines some of Merle Haggard's biggest hits with singles released in the '90s for Curb. The songs from Haggard's Capitol songbook, including "Ramblin' Fever" and "Today I Started Loving You Again," are unfortunately re-recorded versions. Although this isn't a bad budget-priced disc, there are far better collections available, offering more songs in the original hit versions. ~ Al Campbell
