Cancer Is Linked With Poor Nutrition!
This is the headline of a recent report from the World Health Organization. The report clarifies that next to diseases of the circulatory system, cancer is the most active and important cause of death and accounts for approximately 35% of current deaths.
According to Breast Cancer Org, approximately 1 in 8 women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. More than 230,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer were diagnosed in 2011. And approximately 40,000 women die from breast cancer each year. It is for these women and the families affected that Dr. Buchanan focuses her time and energy on a mission that continues to expand.
In her work as Medical Director of Women’s Imaging, Dr. Buchanan spends dozens hours each week reviewing images of cancer and related ailments. Fortunately her research on vitamins and nutrition in general provides a balance of information that yields positive potentials.
Nutritional research has revealed solid information that matches the findings of the World Health Organization. It is definitely true that poor nutrition can open the door to cancer’s aggressive march through the body. And good nutrition can fortify the body’s defenses against this dreaded killer.
