Meet the Author

AvroKO is Adam Farmerie, William Harris, Kristina O'Neal, and Greg Bradshaw. The four friends first collaborated at Carnegie Mellon University, and they continued their partnership to found AvroKO in 2000.Since then, the team has designed some of New York's most memorable restaurant and lounge spaces, and are currently at work on ground-breaking designs for hotels, residential developments, and retail spaces worldwide.

    Amazingly thoughtful design!

    I bought this when my grandson accepted an internship with AvroKo and could not put it down. Their design is not based on just cool appearance but on complex human emotions and respect for the buildings. I have purchased this book for family and friends who have an interest in design and they have all (ages 12 - 90yrs) found this revealing investigation of the design process fascinating.
