Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Nobody else does it better than Better Homes & Gardens, but somehow each new edition of their trademark cookbook outdoes the last. This 15th edition takes the metaphorical cake: Over six hundred pages; more than 1,200 recipes, including 750 new to this edition; new chapters on breakfast and brunch, casseroles, and much more. Honestly, you could start your kitchen library around this book.

I had the Better Homes and Garden cookboor for 45 years,
it was falling apart so for my 65 birthday I tossed the cookboox and got a new one, and I use it all the time.

This is my favorite cookbook. My late mother had one, I bought mine 40+ years ago and I give this one to all new brides. I don't know how many I have given as gifts. Most recent purchase for my daughter who is getting married.

This is a good general, all-purpose cookbook with, for the most part, non-fussy recipes. I had a bound, older version of this book which was following apart.  I had to purchase the binder version which is worth the higher cost. What I especially enjoy with this edition is the "make it your own" recipes where they give you different options for say, rice pilaf or slow cooker meat/poultry recipe. Overall this a good cookbook to have, especially for non-foodies that just want to cook without splurging for single-use ingredients.
