The characters are well developed. You end up thinking about your first love all over again. This is the first book in the Smith sisters trilogy. Not overly sexual, but very sentimental. Wished it had an epilogue, but maybe the next book will tell.me how they end up.

I just couldn't get into this. Maybe I'll finish this book one day, but I don't think it will be any time soon.

I picked up this book because it was interracial romance. I'd hoped that it would bring another dimention to the book. It did not. At a few points they point out the fact that she is black and he is white. But, no development on that. No trials or tribulations, nothing to overcome because of it. The fact that they were interracial needed not even been mentioned. Outside of that great let down, the book was ok but ended as if the author just ran out of things to say.

The story line is repetitive. The main character falls back into the arms of her first luv way too quickly. Waste!!!!!!!

This truly was a good book! Kristen and Randy were two characters with a very believable story of losing the person you really care about and having the chance to get that person back, along with the struggle it comes with. Anyone who has experienced that or wanted to can relate to this story. Kristen and Randy are two characters every reader can relate to on some level. It is an emotional read so have your Kleenex ready. I like the realism of the problems between both Randy and Kristen and how they struggle to overcome their difficulties. I also liked supporting characters brought spice to this story, and had me hoping to see them again in the near future (which there will be by the way because this is a trilogy). I won't even mention the love scenes except to say that Kristen and Randy burn up the sheets with a intimacy so heartfelt and touching that I couldn't stop reading. I even went back and read a few of those scenes twice. I really enjoyed this book. If you are a romance book reader you will like this book. The plot of this story was well thought out and written. I will end this by saying I enjoyed the bear because it had a very sentimental meaning behind it. I won't say anymore because I don't want to spoil it. But you will get why it was so dear to her at the end of the book. If you are a true romance novel fan you have a delightful read ahead of you. I look forward to reading the books about the other two sisters! This author is definitely one I will follow.
