Betty's Book of Laundry Secrets

( 1 )

Overview

Betty is a lifesaver when it comes to laundry. She believes that simple products, such as a bar of Ivory soap and a scrub brush, and low-tech approaches, such as soaking a stain before you wash, are the secrets to getting clothes clean and keep them looking new. Betty's old-fashioned methods and sex decades of washing experience make for a fun modern-day laundry room manual.

From the college student who couldn't do laundry...

Betty is a GODDESS when it comes to laundry. I had no clue what I was doing, and following this manual I've managed to keep all my clothes looking great. The techniques are simple, clear, and easy to follow. For any student going away to school, I would say this book ranks up there with Strunk & White's Elements of Style when it comes to books that all students should bring with them.
