This book should be up for a nobel prize in no time flat. The various poetic styles and use of creative license is perfectly blended. I look forward to his next work.

This book was a winner through and through. I can only hope that others might follow his example as an artist.

This guy was around campus dishing out free cds and dvds wrapped up in flyers. He totally is becoming a hit here on campus. Plus he sings downtown at the Putnam Den, The City Tavern, Circus Cafe, and I caught him one time at Northern Lights....Pretty epic.

As a lover of poetry I give this my eternal seal of approval.

The wit and sheer genius of this work is simply jawdropping. This is the truth in it's purest form.

Hands down the best thing I have ever read.

The words in this book offer a requiem for our own silent losses, a commemoration of all of our darkest hours. But it is also a herald to our triumphs and the celebration of indomitable spirit. This work speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves.

I must recommend this book to anyone who roots for the underdog. This is a triumph far beyond the scope of the ordinary.

The subject matter is fluid and creates an ocean in and of itself. This book will be sure to land among the greats. I can't wait to see the next one. Brilliant on every level.

I cannot even begin to conceive the depths of this text. This book changed my life forever.

This was one wild ride into the depths of Hell and back. You don't run into this type of excellence very often. I would recommend this book to anyone who has ever faced incarceration or extremely difficult times. Watch out for this man....he is going to be the poet of our day and age.

To put it bluntly, this level of drama, fluttering of the heart, burning tragedy, the evil secrets, and the beautiful love of a man and woman is truly wonderful!

The poetry contained here is really touching and cuts straight on through to the heart. Some of it is dark and some light. You can feel the tension of incarceration looming around you as you sink further and further into the artful text.

A splendid tale of literary rebellion. Mr. Wilt is a modern day pirate lord.Fascinating and simultaneously captivating. There are ships, guns, oceans of the mind, bars, rats, treachery, shanks, misfortune, love, and redemption to be found here......Along with riches not easily seen by eye.

You can feel his tragedies and relish in his triumphs. This book is just plain awesome.

Words cannot describe how incredible this book is. And Mr. Wilt is pretty hot himself.

This is a tale of when wonder years get flushed down the drain by the chains of injustice. I would recommend this book to anyone worth talking to.

Its hard to imagine someone going through this much and having their life ripped apart and thrown haphazardly back together. The strength he shows in overcoming the adversity is extremely fragile. It is very moving.

The poetry contained herein is the best that I have encountered in all my years of reading.

This book will drag you in and spit you out.....although whether you come out better or worse for it is entirely up to you to decide.

The text is wrought with superior poetry. But that is not the only nature of this book. The whole as a history is greater than the individual parts. This book is simply a masterpiece. Bravo for single- handedly restoring poetry to an art of substance rather than leaving it to fester in a sea of big words with meanings so ambiguous as to render them nonsensical.

I can't believe how incredible this book is. Every page is epic. The fluidity of the text is astonishing. Bravo.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. This is a portrait of a young mind in prison. Absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't put it down.

The poignant contrasts of negativity of the penal system and the heart inside this young man grab at my gut. This has been the most worthwhile book I have seen in a long time.

A concise, coherent, cohesive portrait of stolen youth, prison life, and the diversification of one's thought. I give this book 5 stars.
