Editorial Reviews

MDA Quest Magazine

Stephanie J. Hale always wanted to be a writer. Now, she's co-authored a book with Christopher Collins in which poetry and short stories are the vehicles for their expression of "slices of life."

This collection is an inspiring expression of both tragedy and hope. A prime example of Hale's experience as a woman with a disability is found in the poem, "Accessory."

In general, this collection provides hope to anyone going through life's difficulties, whether dealing with a disability or the scars of childhood abuse (as expressed by Collins).
