The first book to this series was a very good read but it wasn't long enough so you were left hanging. This continuation of this series went way left field for me. I definitely understood the message about karma but, when the book ended, it had me even more confused about the state of Kat's life. It was an average and quick read for me.
Kat is embrassed at her wedding by her once husband to be. But it is all on her on why the groom did his act. Kat has done so many people wrong when she comes to her lustful desire. But like they what goes around comes around. Running away to where she is suppose to spend her honeymoon she encounters a witch doctor. A curse is placed upon her to see the wrongs in her way. Jackson in this novel take the reader on a rollercoatser ride in the past sexual encounters of Kat. She gives the reader both the good and bad in each situation that she is invile in. The ending is on the leaves the readers stranded and left wondering.
I first read If it dont hurt it aint love, so this was a good follow up to that. You were able to see Kat's view of things and what happened after the wedding. I felt bad for Kat yet she kind of deserved what was for waiting for her because Karma is always there and lurking when you least expect it. Kat just seemed like she didnt care about what she was doing or who she was hurting, she only cared about herself. I enjoyed reading this and wonder when the other part about the son will come out.
