More About This Book

Overview

A legendary tale of mystery being told like never before, presenting a rational view on why there is love and hate. Imagine the Devil, as the protagonist of a story for a change, going under psychological examination, in an attempt to find a plausible reason in how a figure like him could possibly exist, and perhaps an understanding of his hate. Hopefully both religious and nonreligious persons alike will find the story both interesting and entertaining, while no doubt controversial. The original antagonist's true purpose will be revealed. Imagine the origin of origins, in an era before light when there was only darkness, and imagine seeing the glimmer of light for the first time. Envision an epic battle in the heavens that would determine the destiny of humanity. To understand the whole story, we will look through the eyes of a certain depressed man who is waiting for something, being as anxious as a convict on death row. Someone dear to him has been lost, and his strange dreams will not cease. There is a reoccurring dream that has him most disturbed, and in the end of this dream, an unexpected mystery is solved.

    Great Book

Never before had I stopped and wondered what happen before God created heaven and earth. The author really opens the imagination. He took me back before creation and his biblical references had my attention captivated for the entire book. Another plus for this book is that it doesn't preach religion, it just opens your eyes. Great job!!

    Very Eye Opening

What is rare about this book is that the devil is the good guy. It goes into stories that are written in the Bible and opens them up in a new way that helps one to understand the Bible better, especailly understanding good and evil and why there is evil in the world. Brunk gives his theory in a modern, down to earth way. In no way is his book 'religious'. He even states that he hates religion. I greatly recommend this book to anyone who wonders why there is evil in this world and how it got here.

    OUTSTANDING

I never looked at life in that perspective. This is one of those eye openers that examines the balance between good and evil and why god allows them to co-exist. This book can be applied and compared to many things in every day life and will surely answer many questions you might have about why things in this world are the way that they are. It reminded me that everyone is destined for greater things, but that only YOU have the freedom to choose or refuse on account of your actions.

    Out of the box

I feel that this story examines the philosophy of moral structure in an inventive and fun way. The story is dark and exciting but also very philosophical, it makes you think.
