Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
Between the Covers: Sexual Freedom Through the Bond of Christian Marriage by Dr. Christo Scheepers & Dr. Dainty Shaw is a very frank book about sex in marriage. Written by a male Christian minister and a female Christian counselor the chapters discuss every aspect of sex in a Christian marriage, stressing that the body is the temple of God but God gave us bodies to enjoy. This book thoroughly dispels the idea that the body or sexual pleasure is evil or shameful. The chapters cover how to communicate sexual needs; understanding your own and your partner's sexual temperament and personality; knowledge of both male and female genitalia; fantasies and pornography; stimuli for the sexual experience such as sex toys; third party deviations from the marriage; understanding what turns you and your partner on or off; sex during pregnancy; overcoming sexual dysfunction by caring and being open to trying new ways; pictures and explanations of sexual activities and positions to enhance pleasure for yourself and your partner; mutual satisfaction and enjoyment; and finally a quiz to show you how to better understand yourself and your partner's sexuality. Writing with the idea of helping couples who struggle with sex in marriage or who need to overcome past unhappy experiences and also to help dissatisfaction leading to quarreling and divorce, the authors are experts who have counseled many couples and individuals whose marriage falters in the sexual area. The book provides honest, caring, straight forward techniques and self-helps to bring joy and mutually satisfying sexual relations and fulfillment in marriage. This is the PERFECT MANUAL FOR ANY MARRIED COUPLE. HONEST AND EXCELLENT!
