This incredible and thought-provoking story teaches us to seek the guidance of the great and swim the vast sea of life, and survive to be successful. Sometimes we abhor complain about the circumstances that life brings to us, but we only learn later that it can be an opportunity for us to correct ourselves and to travel on the right path. I adore this story and the author who wrote this book. I RECOMMEND this book to all - young and old alike.

Short story but the end reveals a moral I certainly didn't see coming. Enjoyed reading an author from India.

Definitely one of the best novels I have read! Firoz’s ‘Between the Cradle and the Grave’ is a revelation. He provides a gripping narrative that takes us into a lonely island through the courageous characters and brings wisdom and perspective to an often misunderstood life. A must read for anyone who yearns to see with the heart. The story is fast paced and keeps the reader riveted. Not less than 5 stars, recommended to all!

Yes! The best novel I have read in the recent past. Its beauty brought tears to my eyes, finally reveals the true purpose of living. A touching story about the struggle for survival, unconditional love, and living by faith. It teaches us how the darkest circumstances can help us to see the true meaning of life and give us a reason to live for. I truly enjoyed this book and finished it in just one day because I simply couldn't put it down. The words were descriptive and smooth, and brought the whole story to life in my imagination. I will certainly look forward to seeing more from this incredible author. 5 stars, excellent job! Highly recommended!

¿Between the Cradle and the Grave¿  by ¿Firoz Khan¿ will change

‘Between the Cradle and the Grave’  by ‘Firoz Khan’ will change the lives of its readers forever. More parable than novel, this book uses the story of young child and his survival on a dangerous lonely island. The book mainly revolves around two characters: Krishna and Muhammad. One is dying patient, and the other one is a new born. One life is ending and the other one is starting. The million dollar question is, how did they end up on that lonely, dangerous island and would they reach back to mainland?  If they can - how? Along the way, by paying attention to the details in the world around him, which serve as omens guiding us towards their goal, Krishna finds his purpose in his own right, changing his life into an useful one.  Brilliant plot!
Aside from the omnipresent theme about the power of perseverance, my favorite part of the book was its glorification of simplicity. Krishna’s rare ability to get in touch with the Soul of the World comes from a simple honesty and observance of the workings of the world. While the lack of character or plot complexity precludes this minimalist work from being considered a great novel, it will be a satisfying read for those seeking inspiration of the purest sort. A profound spiritual experience when fully accomplished because in that ‘now’ moment we experience ourselves and get a glimpse of God. I recommend this beautiful novel to all. I am waiting for more from this almost unknown author.

Complete satisfaction. I am really pleased to discover this author. Between the Cradle and the Grave’ is full of action, and one of those books you just can't put down. When one life is starting the only other life is ending in a lonely island. However, the author marvellously connects them both and brilliantly passes the message. Firoz gives a nice mix of survival and storytelling. The beauty and the dangers of the island, the characters, their bondage and survival stay in the mind for long. Humanity, strength of character, and love are superbly portrayed. I can't wait to read more of this authors stories.
Go now and buy this book and read it. Super story with a great message.
