This is my first Bob Sorge book and I was not disappointed. I'll be surveying my husband's bookshelf for other Sorge books.

As a writer, I found much of Sorge's content and insight resonating with me, my own God musings and journey into the world of fictional stories. Years ago I came to the conclusion -- if I'm found in God, then my stories are found in Him. I can trust Him with my heart, mind and career!

I knew Jesus was the Great Storyteller and He had much to "tell" in my life and in the lives of those around me.

Sorge describes God's storytelling in all of our lives in this neat, conversational style book that is peppered with depth and insight. I practically highlighted something on every page.

So, should you buy this book? Yes! Especially if you are in a season of hardship or wondering if God is with you, or if there is a God at all. You are not alone in your struggle. One of the greatest ploys of the enemy is to isolate -- if not physically then emotionally and spiritually and Sorge urges us on toward the upward call of God in Christ Jesus as he recounts the life of Biblical heroes as well as his own journey into the heart of the Lord for healing. He instilled hope in me and reminded me God is so very good and kind, and full of dreams for us all.

I highly recommend this book. At the end of the read, I loved Jesus more and I think that's about the highest compliment I can give.
