    'Bewitched:' Pure Magic

Even today, 'Bewitched' remains one of the best examples of what a tv show can be like when it is done right. 'Bewitched' is not only a classic (and funny) show, but it gives us a glimpse into the model of an ideal modern family. Ok, so Samantha is a witch, but so what? Darrin loves her and together they have made one of the most endearing couples in the history of entertainment, and have showed us (with a little magic thrown in) how to be good parents, loving spouses, and all around good people. Pilato's book takes those good vibes and creates a loving tribute to this great show. No broom is unturned as his magic pen takes us back to a more innocent time and allows us to become more involved in the story of the Stevens Family than we thought we ever could. It is filled with wonderful stories from and about the talents who brought this milestone tv series to the screen, as well as some terrific photos of the stars and some interesting behind-the-scenes photos. This is a 'must have' for every fan of the show, and it will make a few NEW fans as well. Pilato writes in an informative and easy-going style, which makes the book hard to put down. His attention to detail and his research into the subject is evident on every page, with each new chapter giving new insight to the show, and the times in which it was produced. As a reference guide it can't be beat. I had to buy two becasue I was wearing out the first copy. 'Bewitched Forever' is a great book; one that should be on every bookshelf of tv fans everywhere.

    ENCHANTING

Bewitched Forever is a nostalgic look at one of televisions best loved programs. Find out why Bewitched remains popular decades after it's cancelation. Read who the show was originaly written for, why there were two Darrins, and other interesting, little known facts. There are plot summaries of every episode, as well as cast and crew biograpies, interviews, and photographs. Bewitched Forever gives us insight as to why this program has cast a spell on millions of people for nearly fourty years. I loved it.

Bewitched has me under it's spell!

I had a copy of the previous edition and was thrilled that it's been updated. If you're a fan of Bewitched and/or Elizabeth Montgomery, you must have this book. It's clearly was a labor of love to create, unlike a lot of the television reference material out there just trying to cash in. Pilato captures the spirit within Bewitched and offers up many one of a kind behind the scences tidbits. I look forward to the next volume, maybe there'll be a Bewitched Movie by then!

    Perfect 'Companion', plus Great Insight

I found 'Bewitched Forever' to be a truly indispensable companion to the classic TV series. Not only are all of the episodes summarized alongside great 'behind the scenes' info, but Mr. Pilato's insights about the show's social relevance brought my interest to new levels. Before I read this book, I only watched the show for the comedy! Even someone who has only seen a few episodes, but enjoys the premise of the series, will enjoy this book. I've found myself surfing cable for episodes I haven't seen that I read about in the book.

    Gotta have it!

As a long time fan of the show I was delighted to see this book come out, and am looking forward to the updated edition in April of this year. Loaded with little known facts, behind the scenes information and personal interviews with the actors and others connected with the show, this book is a must have for any Bewitched fan. Best of all Pilato doesn't just concentrate on the main cast, he is careful to include plenty of great information on others as well, including clients, mortal guest stars, and of course, semi regular characters. Even if you're not a huge fan of Bewitched (though I don't see how anyone could not be) you'll find this book a wonderful resource, and a welcome addition to your library!
