Beyond Armageddon II: Empire is the second installment in the five-part Beyond Armageddon series. Four years after the initial invasion, Trevor Stone has grown his band of survivors into a small nation fighting alien occupiers and extraterrestrial monsters. While his best General leads an expedition to the Arctic Circle to recover a powerful artifact, Trevor finds there is little difference between a war of liberation and a war of conquest.
Empire will take the reader to chaotic battles atop glaciers, to street-to-street fighting as canine hunters battle horrific creatures, to a village in North Carolina that forces Trevor to decide between victory and his soul.

Wasn't a great, can't-put-down type of book, but I wanted to see how the author ended the series. Entertaining read with lots of war action.
I am enjoying this series about alien invasions of earth, probably because the author is obviously from my area of Northeast Pa . All of the sites of invasions are from around my community, starting with the mansion at Harveys Lake, the area where the 5 armies battle took place etc,so that is probably one of the main reasons and I also enjoy reading about aliens.
Book 2 of the series that mixes fiction with a little US Geography. Well worth the read.
This is a must read ! Best books ive read in awhile by far! Have reread them 2x these are books worth making into movies great characters awesome plot, keep writing Mr.Decosmo and ill keep reading!
If you are a sci fi fan of the post disaster type, then this is a great read, as was the first book in the series. It has the typical SCI-FI elements but where the 1st book set up the stage and got the ball rolling, book II does more character development and adds another plot line or two where there was really only one plot line started in book I. The author is doing character development at a good pace but keeping the action going along the plot lines that are developing well in this 2nd volume. I am really looking forward to the third volume in the series.
