Overview

She’s been looking for the perfect man. She found two.

When Rachel Riley sacrificed a life in Eden to protect the O’Kanes, she earned her place in the powerful Sector Four gang. But the former crime princess is tired of being everyone’s sweet little sister . It’s time for her to get wild, to embrace her fantasies as only an O’Kane can—with a delicious exiled soldier and the gang’s wickedly sinful tattoo artist.

A saint...

Lorenzo Cruz is a warrior, taught by his commanding officers in Eden that involvement equals distraction. Emotion is a liability, and desire a sin. In Sector Four, he finds decadence, shameless sex—and his own dark urges. No battle strategy prepared him for how Rachel makes his heart race…or the way his rival for her affections sets his blood on fire.

...and a sinner.

Ace Santana has a dirty reputation and a mind to match, especially where his new lovers are concerned. He’s eager to help Cruz embrace his dominant side, and to explore the lines between pleasure and pain with Rachel. But corrupting them quickly becomes an obsession, a need he can’t deny—and a love he never imagined.

Three hearts on the line means a hundred ways their ménage a trois could go wrong. After all, even O’Kanes do forever two-by-two. One of them could be the missing piece that makes them all whole…or a temporary diversion destined for a broken heart.

Personally, this is the book I've been waiting for since book 1

Personally, this is the book I've been waiting for since book 1 (Beyond Shame). I somehow related to Rachel right from the start and there was something about Ace and his bleeding hart. And then Kit introduced Cruz and the whole thing got even more exciting!

This is the trio's story so menage is the word. (Consider yourself warned ;> )

I feel Donna and Bree (Kit Rocha) couldn't have written this story any better. It was simply the perfect book for these three. And let me tell you my hopes were high! And Kit delivered and then some.

Every scene is just full of emotion and passion. I think I went through the entire scale of emotions on this one. The story stays so intense the whole time, you don't really get a breather.

In my opinion this is the best book in the series (at least so far).

I've loved this series since I read the first book, Beyond Shame

I've loved this series since I read the first book, Beyond Shame, when it first came out a little over a year ago.  Kit Rocha is a new pen name for the writing pair also known as Moira Rogers.  I was not familiar with them before I started this series.  I loved the idea of the dystopian world they have created.  You have Eden, which is supposed to be a utopia and the different sectors which are played out as being evil, poverty and immoral. Each sector has it's own unofficial leader.  This series takes place mostly in Sector Four, which is lead by Dallas O'Kane and is gang.

In this book, we have Rachel whose family still lives in Eden.  Her father brews beer which he sells to the O'Kanes and in return, he bootlegs the O'Kane liquor into Eden.  She sacrificed her life in Eden because someone had to fall, and she wanted to protect her family, but found a new one with Dallas and the gang, but was always treated as everyone's little sister.  She wants to prove to everyone she has grown up and that she is as wild as everyone else in sector.

Lorenzo Cruz is another from Eden, but he was raised as part of the military.  He has had a hard time breaking from the training he has lived under his entire life.  To him, nothing is more important than the mission and that love is nothing but a distraction.

Ace Santana is the local tattoo artist for the O'Kanes.  He has a reputation with women.  He grew up on the edge of Eden and even lived in it a while, though not legally.  He spent a lot of his life as a prostitute to the wives of people in Eden.  He was known for giving artwork to these wives and ruining marriages.  He has convenienced himself that he is no good for anyone.

Ace and Cruz have both had a thing for Rachel for a while.  They have both also been with a woman together.  Rachel has had a thing for Ace from the time she met him.  When Cruz appeared, she started spending time with him.  Cruz doesn't really know how to be with a woman.  The three of them together are magic.  I don't know if they could ever be together without all three of them.  It is not just that the men love Rachel, but they love each other, too.

There has been someone knocking off O'Kane liquor and trying to sell it as the real stuff.  Dallas does not take kindly to not only being cut out of the loop, but an inferior product being sold under his name.  It appears that maybe Rachel's family is involved.  There is also a possible war between the sectors.  This book is action packed as the O'Kanes have to fight to keep what is theirs.  Full of hot sex (as if there was any doubt that would happen).  And some wonderfully sincere scenes that will really tear your heart out.

This is an extremely fun and erotic series.  While this book can be read without starting from the beginning, you will be missing the backstory of many of the secondary characters.  All the books in this series to date have been an extremely fun ride.  I highly recommend that you start the adventure from beginning to get the full sense of the world that the O'Kanes live in.

If you are into audiobooks as I am, book one and two are out.  I've listened to book one and have purchased book two and plan to listen soon.  Book three will be available March 17th.  I don't know when this will be available on audio, but I hope the wait won't be too long.

We were given a complimentary copy for an honest review. This review comes from Lucy, the other half of The Crazy Booksellers.

Kit Rocha has out done herself with Beyond Jealousy !! Let me start by saying that this is book 4 of the Beyond series, and if you have not read the other books that come before you will be somewhat lost during this book because you have missed a good chunk of the back story. Ok now to the good stuff ... Cruz and Ace *sigh* !! I love these men. Ace the artist that creates beautiful tattoos, while we have Cruz the "hero" that everyone can count to get the job done. These two are men are in a way the total opposite from each other but they have Rachel in common. I like how the relationship has a balance between the three of them and how they connect. The book also gives you peeks at upcoming characters along with following up with some of the other gang members that were featured in the other books. I cant wait to read the next book!

My rating: 5 of 5 ¿¿ Happier with the O'Kanes in Sector Four

    My rating: 5 of 5 ¿¿

Happier with the O'Kanes in Sector Four than she had ever been as the daughter of a crime boss in Eden, Rachel Riley still had not let go of all her inhibitions. Sure she had gotten her toes wet so to speak. Had seen and touched, tried and tasted, but her real interest always seem to focus back on the same men. Men, plural.....one she had had a taste of and although brooding and rigid, made her feel safer than ever before and the other was an enigma whom she had fallen for right from the start, but was as conflicted as he was conflicting.

Trained as a whore and tattoo artist, Ace could read and manipulate people at will, through sex mostly and through his art. What he couldn't do was verbalize his true emotion. That is not to say he couldn't feel it, because he did. He had, for a long time, for Rachel, but she was someone too good, too pure for the depraved likes of him. Cruz on the other hand he could manage. The man needed someone to unlock the carefully programmed repressed sexuality that was simmering under the surface.

A protector in heart and soul, Cruz was conditioned as warrior, but just finding his true self after joining the O'Kane clan in Sector Four. Not an easy task after having been raised to suppress all feelings and emotions, in order to fit the mould of a perfect pupil of Eden's Security Forces. Rachel had a hand in softening his heart, but Ace was unlocking every dark desire inside the depths of his soul. With all protection ripped from his heart, he finds he needs both for balance.

The three are drawn together like moths to a flame. Each individually finding a need in each of the others, but unable to balance the need without the third. A perfect triad, once consumed burning brighter than any of its participants could have imagined. And still....the logistics of three  personalities in one relationship is complex, one fraught with insecurity, jealousy, envy and hurt.

    *****

I think of  all the books so far, this is the most emotionally delicate one of all...... Aside from the freakin' hot sex and beautiful descriptions, the inner turmoil of all players is what really got me in BEYOND JEALOUSY.....
The continuation of the story around the Sector Four group of O'Kanes, gives us a look at the ongoing attempts of the clan to keep their sector 'clean'. They will do anything to protect their way of life, a life full of unapologetic indulgence in family, love, pleasure and sex, and their fierce protection of the same. The fight against the illegal distilleries continues, as some nefarious characters attempt to create trouble for the increasingly powerful O'Kanes.
Against this backdrop, Rachel, Cruz and Ace struggle to find their way toward each other. An inevitability, but not without pitfalls and injuries along the way.
For Rachel the hardest part was putting her trust in Ace, who thus far had left her hurting more often than not. With his callous behaviour, mostly out of self-protection, he marked her deeply with emotional injuries and she shows a tremendous amount of strength and faith when she puts herself in his hands.
For Cruz it was the letting go of the tightly kept control he was raised with. Inviting the release of all his inhibitions in order to experience pleasure beyond his imagination. He never had a problem with words, unless they needed to describe his own feelings. Feelings he was unaccustomed to until Rachel and Ace. Being able to show and voice love for them was like releasing the final lock on his tethered identity.
And finally Ace, the one who might have appeared the least apprehensive about the triad,  but in fact was the most frightened. His fears were completely self-inflicted. The flamboyant and open attitude displayed to the world was always part of his cover and intended to cover up a feeling of unworthiness that he himself did not want to acknowledge. His solution therefore was to hurt before you get hurt..... but he was yet to learn the power of love..... that would not let you get away with hiding, that would force you to expose yourself and be real. The love that would encourage you to trust.
I have a feeling Ace, Rachel and Cruz are a work in progress and by no means a smooth ride from here on in, and am sure we will hear more about them in future instalments.

The writing of the duo that comprises Kit Rocha, two best friends Donna and Bree, is nothing short of brilliant, with a story that paints a world so outside of our reality, yet so real. A group of people who have risen from the ashes to make a new community work by their own rules, described in such a well-thought out manner and with such intelligence and insight in social behaviour and the human psyche, is an absolute delight to read. Not to mention the absolute mind-blowing and utterly liberating sexual indulgence that is described with both a raw but also beautiful intensity.

If you had not already opened a BEYOND book before, and are not afraid of blatant openess and descriptive language and scenery, I highly recommend you start now.... BUT start at the beginning..... FAN-FRACKIN-TASTIC!!!!

    ¿A primal, gut-wrenching, completely engrossing menage!¿

    AMAZING SERIES
When a friend recommended the Kit Rocha books and said i would like them she was wrong , i ADORE them . I enjoyed Shame , loved Control , adored Pain and thought nothing would top that one for me . Well Jealousy has tied in first position .

Ace and his fine ass , his dirty dirty mouth and mind , the sinner captured me from start to finish . The surprise of the book was Cruz , i liked him yet expected to not care one way or the other , i thought he would be a third wheel to Ace and Rachel but he`s as integral to the triangle as the other two ,the rock for them to stand on .There was a sweetness to the relationship between the three of them that was unexpected , it tugged at the heartstings and torn them apart at points . It`s hot as hell , panty tsunami time as all the Beyond books are and never disappoint.

The ending left me with my jaw on the floor , totally did not see that coming and as Jealousy was one of my most anticipated reads for Spring Addiction is now one of my most anticipated for the later part of this year .

This series just keeps getting better and better with every outing , the world and characters they have created draws you in and you never want to leave .

4.5 Stars ~Reviewed by ANN & posted at Under the Covers Book

    4.5 Stars
~Reviewed by ANN & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog
The Beyond series by Kit Rocha has become one of my all-time favourite series. With its gritty dystopian world and larger-than-life characters, Rocha has created an elite gang that I believe many readers would love to be a part of.

BEYOND JEALOUSLY, the fourth book in the series has been a book that I’ve been looking forward to since book one. If you’re followed the series religiously then you know of Ace and his Playgirl ways. You also know of Rachel and her work she does with the O’Kanes, but there wasn’t much information on Cruz until now.

Naturally, as Ace is my favourite character behind Dallas, I was looking forward to this book. However, Ace isn’t quite the easy-going seductive bastard he usually is in this one. Rocha digs deep – very, very deep and we get a far more emotional side to Ace. As a person who whored his way through a lot of his life, a lot of this self-respect has diminished through the years. He doesn’t believe himself worthy to be love by a person – let alone two.

When Rachel and Cruz bring him into their relationship, there is always something standing in the way. Ace doesn’t allow them in and it frustrates Rachel and Cruz as much as it will frustrate the reader. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting the level of emotion that Rocha brought to this book. I expected balls-to-the wall sex when it came to Ace, but even though the erotic element is very much there in this book, there’s also great internal angst and sexual conflict as well.

For me, BEYOND JEALOUSY breezed at a 4 star rating for most of the book. However, the last 10% or so really changed my opinion. For a true threesome to work, I needed Cruz and Ace to fall in line with each other. Yes, Rachel is as much a part of this as any of them, but the conflict really lay between Cruz and Ace. When the fight came, I knew that this was where the story was going to turn for me. Not only did it address the conflict head on, but it also showcased the passion they have for each other as well. After all, I’m sure you all know I’m not opposed to M/M lovin’ at all.

After that glorious turn, Rocha hits readers with another great ending that almost had me panicking. When you feel so much for side characters in a book, that’s when you know you’ve done a great job with characterization and development. I’m definitely looking forward to Trix’s story next!

What was most surprising for me was actually Cruz. I never thought much about him until now. The way he cares for Ace and Rachel, the sense of authority he takes in the bedroom, and everything he does for the O’Kane gang made me see him in a new light. I ended up LOVING him just as much as Ace. And that’s hard to do especially when it happened all in one book.
Kit Rocha handles the ménage a trios flawlessly. Brimming with passion, angst and intensity, BEYOND JEALOUSY will leave readers out of breath and begging for more. After this, I’m sure every girl would want to be Rachel in this hot man sandwich.
