Overview

First comes love, then comes marriage...
Beth Stewart is ready to find a nice guy and settle down. But the only man who makes her tingle also drives her crazy in the non-sexy, work-related way. When her bosses hire Finn Howard as a marketing consultant for their growing winery, Beth is sure working together is going to be a complete disaster.

Or maybe just a single night of passion, no strings attached. (Yeah, right!)
Finn knows he can't give Beth what she wants--and a nice guy would walk away. But when a long day of work turns into a private night, fueled by wine and pent-up desire, he gives in to his baser instincts. Damn the consequences.

I have never been disappointed in a story by Zoe York, no matter who the characters are or what they do. Fantastic story-Finn and Beth are wonderful and the story grabs you from the beginning. I did not want to put it down.

If you love small town romances you will really enjoy Beth and Finn's story from the Wardham series by Zoe York. Beth and Finn have to work with each other which seems to be a major issue because their relationship looks more like they are enemies than friends. They can barely be in the same room with one another let alone have a civil conversation. Finn takes it upon himself to settle all of the tension between them. A kiss. One kiss and it would be all past them, but that isn't how it turns out. They both now want more and are fighting it because once they cross that line they can never go back. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.  Lori P

Whew, this one was spontaneous combustion! Beth and Finn are work related rivals but the personal sparks are ready to blow from the first chapter. This is a reluctant romance that is fast paced but doesn't leave The reader behind. This novella takes us along the Beth/ Finnrollercoaster ride. You will laugh and cry but hang in there for the payoff of the HEA.

The story line and love story for this book came through differently than the others and I love it! It started as a hate relationship and turned into a wonderful love! Definitely love Beth's no bull attitude and Finn's 'stir the pot' responses. Just a great story and another wonderful follow up in the series! Now on to the next book!!

My Thoughts: This one was bought on a whim after seeing it around when it was released. I picked it up one day because I thought it would be a cute short read. And guess what? I was totally right. Finn and Beth have chemistry, as he so clearly put it. She's looking for more than just a little fun, and it's something he's not open to. This, of course, doesn't keep a few kisses from happening. Kisses that they can't resist. They both know it's only temporary, and yet it's not enough. Beth may want more, but will Finn? Beyond Love and Hate is a cute novella you have to indulge in. The story might not be long, but it goes deep enough to make you fall for Finn and Beth. I'm so glad I picked this one up by Zoe York, and I can't wait to see more of this series! My Rating: Very Good

My favorite Wardham couple yet! Finn and Beth have great chemistry, that's no surprise. But I loved the snappy, honest dialog most of all. A definite must read, but like all connecting books "series", I like reading them in order. It's like revisiting old friends. ARC given for an honest review

Funny, touching, shocking...All in the name of love..One moment will catch your breath.  The love and hate between Beth Stewart and Finn Howard is putting it mildly. When Beth finds out Finn will be working side by side with her at Go West Winery she is shocked to say the least. Beth is the Director of Operations and Guest Services and Finn is brought on to be there consultant. The feelings she has for Finn are loathing, and a little lust, but become more love later..She's not too sure, but it will break her heart to just have a one night stand with him. Beth wants a good guy. It's just not Finn. He has made it pretty clear.  It's understood there could never be anything between them..Finn knows he might never be able to give what Beth wants, but what if? He has issues with relationships. It's just he can't get Beth out of his mind. He has to try and make the best of there working situation.  His sisters bring some light to his issues. It's pretty interesting to see what happens.  One of my favorite lines.. "There are some things in life we can plan for. And there are others that just need to be a leap of faith."

I wanted to love this book, but struggled with it. We spent most of the book seeing Beth and Finn fight against each other and what they felt for each other. Both of the felt to draw but neither wanted to act on it. Finn thought that he didn't want anything permanent and Beth knew that and thought that was truly what he wanted. It only took them being stranded for one night to give in to what they were feeling, but the next morning they both went there separate ways. It took till the end of the book for Finn to realize that he wanted Beth in his life for good and that he wanted a family and future with her. I wish we could have seen them together as a couple more and not as much time as enemies.
