SOME SECRETS ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR
Back on Earth, Ariana is caught in a dangerous crossfire between clandestine rebel organization Clementia and the power-hungry government. Refusing to divulge the location of the secret information entrusted to her by her late father, she desperately tries to bargain for her Mom, Lily, and Cal's rescue. She's fighting a losing battle, and the clock is ticking.

Presented with evidence of her fiancé Cal's apparent betrayal, she loyally defends him despite her concerns. With her emotions in turmoil, matters become even more complicated as she grows closer to her ex-boyfriend Zane.

When the stakes are raised, a succession of shocking revelations rocks her world, setting her on a path that will not only change her destiny but the fate of humanity.

Confronted by a memory so abhorrent comes a truth she would do anything to forget.

But some things just can't be undone.

WILL I ENJOY THIS BOOK?

True Calling is an enthralling young adult science fiction fantasy romance series that has earned rave reviews from readers who enjoyed popular series like The Hunger Games, Divergent, Matched, The Selection, The 100, 1984, and it's even been favorably compared to the movie Elysium. Set between two vastly different worlds (utopian vs. dystopian) and told from two different perspectives, this series will appeal to readers who enjoy any of the following genres: Teen and Young Adult, Science Fiction, Dystopian, Romance, Fantasy, Paranormal or Supernatural, Urban Fantasy.

This is a fully completed series and I recommend reading it in the following order to maximize reading enjoyment:

True Calling #1
Lovestruck #1.5
Beyond Reach #2
Light of a Thousand Stars #2.5
Destiny Rising #3

Full Series bundle also available.

This book had a lot of action which I loved. It was a roller coaster ride. Author Siobhan has a great descriptive writing style that is easy to follow and flows really well. She has the right balance between showing verses telling. This review contains spoilers. One thing I liked throughout this series, is how Ari stays true to her character. She has a strong will and I love that she knows what she wants and sticks to it. I'm team Cal, all the way. I prefer brunette's, but Cal is one of the rare blonde's that I've made an exception for. Cal is charming and so full of life. He's also funny and kind of a bad boy, so you can't help but fall for him. So when I 1st started this novel, I was on pins and needles. Then I was taken aback that the government tried to turn Cal against Ari. It reminded me of Mocking Jay, but it was refreshing the way the situation played out. Part 2 with Zane was both good and frustrating at the same time. I liked the sequence of events and the conflict that happened in Part 2. I was appalled Zane ran and told about Ari's pregnancy. Regardless if he only thought that the government was behind it. He definitely should have talked with Ari 1st. It would have saved a lot of heartache. I also was frustrated with Zane's inner turmoil. Maybe I'm just bias when it comes to men, but I wanted Zane to grow a pair. Being in his head was depressing. And if I'd had a gun, I would have blown my head off. I get it, I really do. But I don't have a lot of tolerance for guys acting like girls. It was very unfair what happened to him and Ari. But sometimes you have to accept things and try to move on. Ari told him so many times that she loved Cal and that's who she wanted. In one scene I remember saying, "Damn!" out loud. Ari was blatantly honest with him. But Zane was still hoping for a miracle. I would have preferred if Zane had not pined over Ari so much and attempted to move on. However, being in Zane's head did allow me to get to know him better. I actually think he is a good guy. He makes some bad calls, but had good intention, and his heart was in the right place. Author Siobhan is the queen of cliff hangers. I have all the patience of 5 seconds, so I only like a cliff hanger if the next book is available. Praise Sonar the next installment was ready because I think I would have lost it. The ending of this novel was action packed. It left me dying to know how it was going to end. Love triangles are my favorite kind of romance, if they are done well. This triangle is by far one of my favorites. I can't wait to read the final installment.

After reading True Calling and Lovestruck, I could not wait to read this book. I had another book to read first and even though I enjoyed it, it was killing me to wait to read this one. I was not disappointed. I was taken on a very exciting journey with friends and mentors who turn out to be enemies, enemies who turn out to be looking out for you, and a government that is so twisted they mess with people's memories and DNA! Taking us again through Ari's POV and then Zane's POV, this book tells what happened after True Calling. We've got another cliffhanger though, and I can't wait to be able to afford #2.5 and #3!!! Definitely a series worth reading for any fan of YA, dystopian, love triangles, or sci-fi type books. Will be recommending to all my friends!

I love book series especially when every book gets better and better! This book starts out fast paced and leaves you unable to put it down. I liked the main character Ariana a lot more in this book. She became stronger and her will to not give up the important information really propelled the story. The different perspectives were a favorite part of this book for me because each characters point of view made it feel like you were reading different books. This story is a real Nail bitter. If you aren't captured by the quest to save the world the love triangle will definitely keep you intrigued! I honestly feel like this is one of those YA book series that keep adults of all ages hooked to YA. I would recommend this book series to everyone! GO NOW GET YOUR COPY!!

There was not a single page in this book that was not full of excitement and adventure.Beyond Reach has the cliff hanger of all cliff hangers, leaving me in desperate need for any other piece that gives me a few more details into the lives of Ari, Zane and Cal. I loved True Calling but Beyond Reach has taken the story to a whole new level. I was instantly drawn back in to the plot and it was like I never stopped reading. One moment I was happy and then the next moment the book was heart breakingly sad. Thank god for Siobhan Davis who is releasing the next instalment this year! I was crazy for Cal in True Calling however Beyond Reach gave us a better understanding of what Zane is all about. I really feel for Zane because unlike Ari and Cal he has his memories, He remembers everything. He remembers his feelings for Ari and the way she used to feel for him. Zane is fighting for the girl he lives and that made me switch sides and back Zane. Look at the beautiful cover, I don't even have words to describe how amazing this book is and how amazing Siobhan is so i am going to leave it there before I spoil any parts of this book. I was lucky enough to be sent an advance copy of this book to read and review and I am so grateful. So far this is the best book I have read in 2015.

Review: Thank you Reading Cove for providing me a copy of this book. This is my honest review of the book. Beyond Reach, the second book in the True Calling series, maintains the high level of energy and suspense that was built in Book One and then “kicks it up several notches” as Ariana returns to Earth with Zane and the war between the Government and the Clementia rebels escalates. The romantic aspect of the series gets even more complicated in Beyond Reach. Ariana is still crazy in love with Cal but without giving away any spoilers, she is given ample reason to wonder if she really knows the man she loves. Zane has a deep love for Ariana and she has feelings for him but since her memories of Earth were erased when she was sent to Novo she does not fully understand her ties to Zane. To complete the love triangle there is someone who is in love with Zane and knows that she has no hope as long as Ariana is back in his life. She makes it her mission to get rid of Ariana to free Zane to love someone else. Ariana has left so much behind when she escapes from Novo but will not rest until everyone she loves is together again. To do so she puts herself and Zane in grave danger. The author has created a solidly written series that is pure delight to read. In Beyond Reach there are aspects of the plotline that seem to carry on from hints provided in the previous book or are logical steps in the progression of the story but the author weaves in so many unexpected events and twists into the storyline to maintain the suspense and addictiveness of this book from beginning to end. The characters are well developed and believable. Although I am a fan of Ariana, there were times when the decisions that she made just drove me crazy, but when I thought about it seemed age appropriate for her even though they resulted in putting her and those she loves in harms way. Beyond Reach lays a solid foundation for Book Three and I am waiting impatiently for the next installment in this series. Rarely do two books by the same author make my “best reads” of the year but I have no doubt that these two books will be high on the list. I can honestly say that this series is just fantastic and I most highly recommend it to those readers who are looking for a really good young adult dystopian series. Additionally, I offer my sincere thanks to the author for creating such a great series that has me completely hooked and has provided many hours of thoroughly enjoyable reading. Bravo!!!

First I would like to thank Siobhan Davis and NetGalley for giving me an ARC of this book for an honest review. I have to say to you… I liked True Calling but this one was even better. This book starts where True Calling finished and with Ariana back to earth without her family and without Cal. Throughout the book you can see her development as a character and her struggle about who she should trust and how she feels about Cal and Zane. So yeah, it was great to see her growth in this book. However, there were sometimes that I wanted to scream at her for some bad decisions. If you read my True Calling you might know that I didn’t trust Cal but meanwhile I’ve read the novella Lovestruck and I actually thought that I was wrong and I was happy about that. But then I’ve read this book and I wasn’t totally wrong about not trusting Cal. He did some stupid things but I now understand why he did it. And then there’s Zane. I love his bond with Ariana and how we can see how much he loves her with his actions. Also, after the cliffhanger that this book had I’m really excited to see the story is going take Ariana, Zane and Cal and I’m mostly excited to know what Ariana remembered. I’m pretty sure that it’s going to be a big part of the next book. Another thing is that there is so much happening in this book that there isn’t a boring part in this book because there is always something that happens that changes the direction of the story and I really liked it. My only problem with that was that sometimes it was a little bit rushed but overall I was really happy with this book. There were moments that I couldn’t leave my book because something would happen and I needed to know what was coming next. I’m talking to you Chapter 11 last sentence… I was thinking that this thing could happen but I really thought that I was wrong so that wasn’t expected at all. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I’m really excited to see how it’s going to end. The plot was amazing and the author’s writing was pretty good. I actually think that Siobhan Davis writing improved in this book. If you like this type of books and if you like to be surprised read this book.

Beyond Reach is the sequel to True Calling. If you haven't read True Calling you should stop and go get that one now. You will have difficulty keeping up with the events in Beyond Reach if you haven't read True Calling first. With that said, this book picks up after the cliff hanger events of True Calling. Ariana Skyee, along with her younger brother, are with the rebel faction on Earth. Much of this book is spent with Ari trying to rescue her remaining family on Novo as well as gathering information about the rebel faction with whom she is hiding. Ari continues to grow closer to Zane while still trying to remain loyal to Cal, who is still trapped on Novo. I enjoyed Beyond Reach even more so than True Calling and am very excited to continue reading future books in this series! Keep up the great work Siobhan!

MY THOUGHTS  So much happens in this book that I really don't know how to feel right now! Ari is back on Earth with Zane and the rebel organization Clementia. But her family and fiance, Cal, are currently back on Nova and being held hostage. After seeing a video of Cal with the President, Ari is questioning if he has betrayed her, but she can't help but still love him. Then there's Zane, her ex-boyfriend from before her memory was erased. Ari can't help but grow close to Zane.  My synopsis really doesn't really give this book justice. So much happens in this book and I had to leave a lot out because I don't want to ruin the surprise(s). The book begins with Ari's perspective. I had issues with her perspective at first because it was mainly focused on her complicated feelings for Zane and Cal. A lot of stuff about trying to plan how to rescue her family and the Clementia leaders being a-holes also happened, but that was most of it. After that, though, the book picked up pace and introduced so many new surprises and twists! I absolutely loved it! I loved the different perspectives we saw in this book, much like the last one. I loved when it switched to Zane's perspective and we got an entirely different insight on the events going on and the characters. Different, at least, from Ari. Though, it would have been very interesting to see things from Cal's perspective, but I can definitely understand why that didn't happen.  I looked back at my review for the last book and my only issues seemed to be that I didn't feel like I got enough explanation about the memories and the psychic abilities. I'm glad to say that this book fixed that. Everything was explained and everything added up and make sense! I did have issues with the romance, but that's not uncommon with books for me. There was actually kind of two love triangles in this book. Ari had one, of course, but I felt like there was one introduced for Zane as well. It actually wasn't the love triangle that bothered me, but I don't like the back-and-forth complicated feelings that come with them. IN CONCLUSION  Overall, this was a really awesome sequel! So much happened in this book and I was very surprised with every page! I felt like everything was explained and I really can't wait for the sequel! My only issue was the complicated feelings Ari had, but that began to disappear as the book went on. If you enjoy great sci-fi dystopias, I do recommend this series.

(I received a copy from the author via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review) Wow, another good read from Siobhan Davis. I'm already a massive fan of book #1 (True Calling) and this book has lived up to its expectation and more. This book is action packed and hard to put down. Ariana is now back on Earth with Zane, but Cal is still on Novo alongside her Mom and Sister. She's shown evidence of Cal's betrayal and she's thoroughly confused about it, further more she's started to develop feelings for Zane. Towards the end of the book, we were told that Ariana has started to regain all of her memories. She's remembered something very significant and life-changing. What is it and how does it affect her relationship with Cal / Zane? I can't wait to find out in the next book!!!

Actual rating: 4.5 I would have given this a 5 but I think some parts were too rushed. Some scenes defiantly should have been dragged out more.  There were some emotional moments in this book that didn't really hit me because I think it went by too fast. she just watched her mom die and it was like two sentences this book wasn't long so I feel it could have totally been dragged out a bit.  Other than that I really loved this book  Cal I still don't like him. His brother is even worse tho. And what about his dad? So weird. And what if her dad is the father of her baby? And what if her mom cheater with him and she is actually cal's sister!?? Don don donnnn Zane oh my baby I love him. I don't want him to end up with Issa. I know she's really struggling but you shouldn't be with someone because you feel bad.   Ending: gaaaaaahhhh I need to knowwww! I can't believe she got her memories back!!! I hope she chooses Zane after this lol Overall such a great book. I need the next one noooow

If you read my review for True Calling, you know I had some reservations about Cal. It seems that I had good reasons but not for the reasons I had thought. Yep, answers that lead to more questions. That's the great thing about a series, you never really know everything until the series has come to an end.  For the first book, I had issues with Zane's POV. This time around, I really enjoyed it. The whole book showed a change in the authors writing. She was now comfortable with her characters, the ground work had been all laid out and she could give them even more definition. Along with this, she was able to introduce new characters and she did so solidly, giving the reader a stronger story. This book has so much action to it, that sometimes it was a bit more than what I could keep up with. I couldn't stop reading, but I found myself rereading sentences and paragraphs because I had gotten a bit lost. The author did her best with descriptions, but there were a few things that escaped me. Zane...the underdog. He really shown in this book. His characterization was beefed up for this book and he really was able to stand his own ground. Still in love with Ariana, he held on to the hope that she would love him back. He did so with strength unlike the weak Zane we were introduced to in the first book. Speaking of twists, Ariana threw a great one in. Actually, I had wondered from a moment in the first book if it was happening, and through other incidents in this book, before the big reveal. I wasn't totally shocked, but I love the way the author put it out there. Than there is Isla. You want to hate her, at times you really do. But through the past years, she's been the one at Zane's side, even though he couldn't stop thinking of Ariana. You can understand her inner conflicts, her lashing out, her destructive behavior and everything else that is brought on when Ariana and Zane are reunited. Another solid read from author Siobhan Davis and another great scifi book for readers of all ages. Enjoyable, action packed, twists galore and the story isn't done yet. A novella is due to come out soon and in about four months, the third book comes out. I can't wait to read them both!

You know those little party favors that, when opened, a huge blast of confetti and streamers come bursting out and you wonder how all of that could fit in that little container? That’s how I felt after I read Siobhan Davis’ latest, Beyond Reach. Page one and the action, characters, twists and tension just kept bursting out, going on and on without taking a break! I don’t think I would have had time to breathe if it hadn’t been for punctuation marks. Ariana is back on Earth, playing a potentially deadly game of keep away with the corrupt government and the Clementia rebels. She is determined not to hand over secret information given to her by her late father that could be the deciding factor in victory or defeat. She is more than willing to hand over the information after the release and safe return of her mother, Lily and her fiancé, Cal. Stalemate. No one is willing to force her, and no one willing to comply with her demands without something in return. Her life with Zane is part of the memories that have been stolen from her, but with his kindhearted ways, protectiveness and his heart on sleeve, Ariana finds herself falling for him all over again, but what of Cal? Has Ariana made herself a target for a girl who longs for Zane? A classic case of she loves him, he loves her, she loves another and he is missing, the big question mark in the equation, is he a traitor, a victim, or a hero who sacrificed to save others? With the fate of humanity on her shoulders, Ariana is rocked with a bombshell revelation that should be a blessing, but it could also be a nightmare of epic proportions that she cannot undo. The clock is ticking, her options are running low, angst and emotions are burning up the pages and there are no guarantees that anyone will have a future together. Talk about a story coming to life under the skill of a brilliant author! Siobhan Davis ‘world goes beyond gripping, nail-biting and gut clenching into a realm of action and atmosphere on steroids. The pace is blisteringly fast, and the characters? Well, I loved some, hated some, felt pity for some, changed my mind about some and when they sweat, I sweat, they were angry or confused, I was angry or confused. I wanted to get their attention and scream “NO” or “YES” or “Way to go, dufuss!” Yeah, I got that involved. When an author makes me forget this is “make believe,” and hours have passed since my last visit to reality, then they are an author to follow. Siobhan Davis writes like the Pied Piper plays his flute, it’s magical. I received this ARC edition from Siobhan Davis in exchange for my honest review.

This story is getting super good! I'm loving it! Can't wait for the next book! I love dystopia stories, so this story definitely keeps me interested, and I enjoy the sci-fi aspect. I love how the story is so complete, it's just not about the romance, it's much more involved. The romance is still very present, but so many more events are happening, that it doesn't become cloying. I'm not a huge fan of love triangles, but I'm not quite annoyed with it in this series. I do still really dislike Isla, I'm totally okay if she ends up sacrificing herself for the others, totally cool with that! If in the end Ariana doesn't choose Zane, I am very much hoping he doesn't end up with Isla, actually I hope no one ends up with Isla, well maybe Cal's brother, that would be interesting! I'm okay with that scenario. Something I hate in books is when whoever the leading lady doesn't choose automatically falls in love with someone else! If you were so in love with the leading lady, how is it that you can just fall in love with someone else so quickly! I hope that doesn't happen in this series! I'm going to try to be vague about something I don't want to happen in the story, so I don't ruin it for anyone, so be forewarned that this may be a slight bit spoilery. I hope a certain situation turns out to be just an affair, and not a related issue, and also I'm wondering if Cal were to regain is memories, would there be a girl he liked before; I would hate that!, okay that's all I'm going to say about that! I liked the alternating POV chapters, but I did skim through some of Zane's chapters because of a certain someone, but I still like getting glimpses into other people's minds. Maybe there can be some chapters for Cal in the next book! I'm still not sure who I want Ariana to pick, but I suppose I'm leaning towards Cal. All I'm hoping is that whoever it is, doesn't just find some other girl, just let them be heartbroken, then they can come to terms with, and it will be implied that they will be just fine! I will definitely read the next book, and I really enjoy Siobhan Davis' writing, so I will look into other books by her as well!
