    A must-have book for anyone deploying or using networked computer systems.

    Finally, a book that provides a comprehensive treatment of geographic redundancy for modern computer systems. It includes a primer that a novice can use to understand the basics of geographic redundancy and service availability. It includes a rigorous mathematical model that can be used by service providers or customers to calculate availability numbers to insert into contracts. It also includes level-headed, been-there, done-that recommendations for anyone creating a reliable system. This is a must-have book for anyone deploying or using networked computer systems.
