It's time we let forgiveness out of church and psychology out of the laboratory and clinic. I hope my book does both. -- Dr. John Berecz

John Berecz, Ph.D., ABPP, earned a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the American University in Washington, D.C., and his Ph.D. from Indiana University, where his research on smoking cessation won recognition from the American Institute for Research. He maintains a private practice in clinical psychology and has been a consultant for hospitals and nuclear power plants. In 1979 the American Board of Professional Psychology certified him for advanced competency in Clinical Psychology and in 1994 elected him a Fellow of the Academy Board of Professional Psychology -- the highest level of his profession.
