This is a VERY good book that reminded me of Day by Day Armageddon but not as cold. The characters are the story here. They are real and when the hero, Tragger faces emotional choices you really feel it as well as the impact of his decisions. The ghouls in this book are crazy and original.
Just like his other book Among the Living, this is a zombie book that is really original. Get his first book too. I was lucky to get it when it was free for a while.

Another great book from Tim Long. Just like his last book Among The Living, this one doesn't disappoint. I can't wait for book 2.

But along the way they face opposition at every turn—the dead, rogue military forces, looters—and a new enemy more dangerous than any they have yet encountered.
Among the stumbling, mindless zombies are ghouls. The ghouls are living ...
