My name is Paige Reed. I live in Astoria, Oregon (yes, the same town Goonies was filmed in). I have premonitions, but it's weird because . . . well, they're cryptic and spoken to me by a ghostly voice. Nobody knows this – not even my best friends. But the voice told me I was going to die and since then, bizarre things have been happening to me. My ears ring whenever my friend Matt comes around, and a yellow laser beam of light swipes across his iris. When I was on a date with a really hot and mysterious guy (I think I'm falling in love with him, btw), I had the same encounter with a creepy stranger.
I just found out today there are dark forces in this world and something special about me, a light they're afraid of and my life is in danger. But there's an enchanted object their leader has been seeking for thousands of years, and I'm the only one who can find it. I'm now deeply entangled in a hidden paranormal world of dark spirits, immortals, ancient secrets, and magick. If I don't comply with their demands, they'll kill me. If I do, Armageddon will happen.
