    I Also Recommend:

    Amazing, inspiring, deeply spiritual music!

I have loved this CD for a long time, along with all of Russil's CD's. Recently, I saw Russil at Kripalu and participated in one of his amazing retreats. When I saw him play the sitar and the keyboards at the same time he was singing I was blown away. His voice cuts through to your heart and into your soul and spirit. He puts so much passion into every song he does but there is also a lot of specific thought that goes into each song to make every syllable meaningful. This is because he is so knowledgeable about both yoga and sound (he wrote an amazing book called The Yoga of Sound). He talks a lot about the healing properties of music. Bhava Yoga contains such beautiful melodies around some chants you will surely recognize in a way that is full of joy and fun while inspiring devotion. This CD has inspired and lifted my heart on many occasions when I felt like God was nowhere to be found. Highly recommended music and you might want to save yourself the trouble of trying to buy them all separately and just go ahead and buy his music as sets (once you hear his music you will surely want to hear more). Enjoy!
