Highly Recommended for Anyone Wishing to Learn More About the Mass

This is the best book I have ever found that explains the Catholic Mass, including the origin of the details of the Mass, especially from scripture. I Highly Recommend it to All Catholics, as well as to Non-Catholics wishing to learn more about the Mass. It also makes a good adjunct book for RCIA.

Great for the cradle Catholic or RCIA candidate!

I went through RCIA in 2009 and wished I had this book! I have read many, but this one really gives you the meaning behind we do what we do during mass. Great explainations and detail. Great read!

Highly Recommended - a MUST read!

This book clearly defines in a simplistic format the reason we "do what we do" at the Mass. In addition, its excellent resource material in preparation for the changes in the Mass later this year.

    I Also Recommend:

    A Great Book

This is a great book. It is something of a "biblical background" on the Mass. Written in a simple yet not simplistic manner, this is a great resource for anyone looking to strengthen their Eucharistic devotion and knowledge of the Mass. It is a good resource.

A must read for Catholics and non-catholics alike.

Easy to read and understand. Many, many biblical references are sited to explain a more in-depth explanation of the entire Mass from begining to dismissal.
