Big Bad John
Book 1 in the Bigger in Texas series

Kinda broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip…

Trudy Adams never planned on going home again. Not to that sleepy little Texas town where everyone knew her business and thought she was trouble. She ran away to California years ago, and now, after what has felt like a lifetime of struggling, her lucky break might finally be around the corner.

And then she got that email.

John Brown has been waiting patiently for Trudy to return, but his patience has run out. He’s had years to think about all the things he wants to do to her, and he’s willing to use her concern for her brother, her desire to help her best friend get her story, and every kinky fantasy Trudy has to show her who she belongs to.

The explosive chemistry between them is unmistakable. But will history and geography be obstacles they can’t overcome? When Trouble makes a two-week deal with Big Bad…anything can happen.

Warning: READ THIS! BDSM, explicit sex, voyeurism, accidental voyeurism, voyeurism OF voyeurism with a sprinkle of m/m, exhibitionism, ropes, cuffs, gratuitous spanking, skinny dipping, irresponsible use of pervertables…and a big, dirty man who will melt your heart.

Check out the warning on this one! Another warning that totally encourages me to read the book! lol R.G. Alexander is back with sexy cowboys and a kinky female singer. The chemistry between John and Trudy packs quite a punch. There is some awesome kinky sex between them. I love that the relationship started years ago. I am a big fan of friends to lovers or rekindling lost love. John comes across as a big brooding hulk of a man, but when it comes to Trudy he is a big teddy bear-unless they are in bedroom mode. The sex scenes between them were creative and varied enough that I never got bored while reading. In fact the voyeurism of voyeurism scene was freaking hot! I really enjoyed this book. I didn't want to stop reading it once I started. I will warn you not to read this book while at work! I took a break while a file was loading and was quite disappointed when my work file opened. ;) I can't wait to see what Ms. Alexander brings us next!

    A book worth rereading

This book may not be a full novel but it certainly read like one. Somehow I became invested in the characters very quickly. It's a very good read.

Trudy left Texas and never planned to return to it for any lengt

Trudy left Texas and never planned to return to it for any length of time. However, when Big Bad John, who she had wanted since first laying eyes on him when she was a teen, called to say that her brother Jefferson had broken his leg and needed her to come home, she agreed. But she wasn't coming alone, instead bringing her best friend Caroline with her. During the time that Trudy had been gone, she had not only worked on her music, but had also learned a lot about what types of kink she enjoyed. John proposed that during the two weeks that Trudy agreed to stay in Texas, they enter a temporary negotiation and finally explore their attraction completely, but Big Bad John doesn't plan to ever let Trouble (Trudy) go again!

I really enjoyed this book. John and Trudy had a very hot relationship, exploring everything that turned them on. This story was a sort of second chance story (although they had never really had a relationship, just one brief, interrupted encounter). I loved seeing how their relationship progressed from just hot sex to them finally admitting their feelings and planning a future. I am looking forward to more books in this series, hopefully more about Jefferson and Caroline!

*I received an e-copy of the book from the author in exchange for a review but my thoughts are completely honest and my own.
